Why reward Green over Neser? Neser has been the form bowler and he deserves to be next.
Green is also injured and is picked fo WA as a specialist bat

Specialist bat? He's bowled in every single FC game he's played in except for the one that was just finished, and the only reason he didn't bowl is workload management after he pulled up sore bowling 16 overs vs NSW. He's absolutely an all-rounder.

Looks like it will be:

1. Warner
2. Bancroft/Burns
3. Labushagne
4. Smith
5. Head
6. Wade
7. Paine
8. Cummins
9. Starc
10. Lyon
11. Hazlewood

Don't be surprised if Pattinson makes it over Starc.
Bancroft will be the opener for sure. Langer is going to make him the new Marsh of the side

He hurt himself last week against the Bulls, like he has every game he's ever played. He is only picked as a batsmen now and moved up the order this week.

That's why I asked Spoj what his plan B was, if you have Green as 12th man and Starc gets hurt before the Test you couldn't use Green- he can't bowl.

Feared he’d suffered stress fractures yesterday cleared but no more bowling.

Green batted at 6 in the first innings and 7 in the second innings, if that's moving up the order, where does he usually bat?..

Behind the keeper but in front of him this round in both Innings. Inglis is first normally than Green the first of the bowlers.

Green was down a spot in the second innings because Kelly went in as nightwatch.

Well ok, since absolutely no one asked for it or wanted it, here’s my team list:

1. Harris
2. Warner
3. Labba the hutt
4. Smith
5. Head
6. Wade
7. Paine
8. Cummins
9. Starc
10. Lyon
11. Hazlewood

12. Green

That’s pretty well it. I’d be fine with Pattinson in for Starc, and I still hope Burns gets in, even though his recent form is ordinary he still deserves it more than Bancroft.

Not after Starc's work in the blues game today.

Overall I finally agree with all the selections. Which is rare.

I agree. You could argue for this guy or that guy but really, it is all about personal preference. It is really hard to argue anyone at all has been hard done by or even that anyone in the team is a 'boy's club' selection other than Bancroft. Even then, his selection isn't really all that unfathomable. If he makes the final XI though, that's a different story.

Pattinson facing a discipline hearing over a slur made towards a Bull. Bit unsure what the slur was but I’ve asked a few guys.

Paceman James Pattinson has been suspended by Cricket Australia and will miss the first Domain Test against Pakistan at the Gabba.
The speedster has been found guilty of a Level Two breach of CA's Code of Conduct during Victoria's Marsh Sheffield Shield game against Queensland last week and, as it is his third breach of the Code in the past 18 months, it has triggered a one-match suspension.

Oh well, at least that makes picking the bowling line-up easier.

Allegedly called Gannon the homophobic slur starting with F, although they're teammates in the BBL and apparently it was more of a joke a than anything, even Gannon came to his defense and said he didn't think he should be suspended.
