I'm no Panthers fan but FMD......I'm over the media trying to find a story to beat up the players about for celebrating their win

Fucken pathetic attempts at trying to grab a headline.

The panthers celebrations are just another reason why the fans of the game in general cant wait for their demise. Not even the storm or roosters at the very peak of their powers were dickheads like this.

Penrith have earned the right to be arrogant. They have been in the past 3 grand finals and just won back to back which is hard enough to win 1 let alone back to back premierships. Heck if this was the broncos, everyone here would be lapping it up. I couldn't give a flying **** what they are like post celebrations the next day, as majority of them would've been partying all night long and hardly slept. What I'm over is the media trying desperately to come up with click bait stories for people to be outraged at. This panthers team deserves to be talked about as one of the most dominant teams of all time up there with the 2017 storm, Roosters back to back, Broncos and Raiders of the early to mid 90's etc.

I think many years ago, he once made a promise to himself he would make it onto the field on gf day. He’s simply ticking off something on his bucket list.

So far we’ve seen Luia drop a racial slur being a pretend gansta
Api bag out the club he’s going to
And another start a chant saying we hate parra.

It’s a far cry from “It’s better than Lego”

Imagine if they get a three-peat. Pray for another team to rise up next year. The broncos maybe?

They are smug and arrogant but I find it funny some of the journalists that are laying into them. I can tell if you dig deep enough these guys have more skeletons in their closets than some of these pacific island guys that let loose a couple of times a year. Paul Kent is a bigot.

People are way too precious about a few 20somethings having a bit of fun.

I love this shit, players need to speak their mind more often and be a bit arrogant. Can you imagine how big the next Penrith/Parra match is going to be?

If the Broncos won the premiership and acted like this, we'd be treating them like the Beatles.

They certainly haven't endeared themselves but the carry-on from Kent is way over the top and comes off pretty sus. The only players with integrity are the Caucasians? OK.

I don't like the way some of them carry on the field and get away with it. Luai in particular gets away with far too much and it's all cynical grubby play.

I'd never want the Broncos to be grubby, but yeah, I think I'd love it if they were arrogant and could actually back it up.

It's remarkable how dominant the Panthers have been. They've only lost 10 games in 3 years, that's 10/82 games. Of those losses only 2 of those losses came when they had their full-strength team on the field for the duration of the 80 minutes - the 2020 Grand Final and the Round 9 2022 clash vs. the Eels.

Even if you narrow it down to the premiership years, the Broncos were never that dominant.

The closest comparison I could think of is Melbourne during their salary cap cheating years and even they don't compare.

They make it easy for people to rightly have a go at them by being so stupid in public. Its not just the Islanders either. The biggest issue despite their grubbiness for me is just a complete lack of respect for their opponents.
