So are NSWRL going to blow up about the re-gripping as much as they did on the Gagai episode... or does it no longer matter because it's a golden child that benefits this time...

man look at the gut on fifita.

such an amazing player if he only treated his body like a professional athlete he could still easily be one of the best in the game

That error from Tass has proven costly. He did so well to bump off Nikora who was looking for a hit, only to spill it innocuously in the Brailey tackle.

Cronulla hadn't fired much at the Rabbitohs line, but McInnes with the hit and spin gets the offload away to Fifita.

The big man still had some work to do but Cameron Murray made the cardinal sin of tackling high and it just gave Fifita enough room to slam the ball over.

20-14 Cronulla as we enter the final stages of the contest.

What a fantastic passage of play from South Sydney to get out of trouble. Really good shape to give Latrell the time and space to draw in defence and help put Johnston away and change the momentum right as Cronulla were well on top.

latrell has really started to fall back into being the lazy player he used to be these last couple games.

he pretty much goes missing for 60 minutes a game.

Imagine if he got even half as involved as tedasco.

for the rabbits to do anything this year he really needs to up his involvement every game

That was a big play from Souths to get the charge down, Cronulla looked like they were going to camp down in Souths end there.

Unfortunately they lost their way in the closing stages. Ilias again caught out.

Souths really have trouble icing the end of their sets don't they. Missing ARey big time.

wonder what the nrl are going to do about the offside that happens after evert scrum?

im not sure i havee seen a scrum this year were the defence was not called offside.

do they have to start threatening 10 in bin?

Tatola has been immense tonight, he probably deserved that, but not sure that's a try.

Well eventually the weight of possession had to take it's toll. Souths were rudderless in attack but they've come up with a number of defensive plays to put pressure on the Sharks. In the end their persistence to work the middle has paid off with Cook working a play for Tatola.

They have to have another look, but it's a try.

How was that momentum and Hosking’s wasn’t?
Because Hosking stretched his arm out after the ball had made contact with the ground while being tackled. If Hosking doesn't extend his arm it's play-on.
