I just hope one day I get to see our forward pack bully a top teams pack.

There is always a time and place for aggression but I’m sick to death of our forwards getting out enthused and dominated by an opposition pack then not making an effort to get one back.

We are often in the same room with the fucking dregs of society, absolutely abhorrent 'fans'
It wouldnt just be fans of the roosters either or fans in general. There would be fuckheads that are racist to the core that dont even follow the sport that are jumping on because it genuinely shits them they have to see and be around people of colour. Grubs.

Honestly pretty disappointed with fletcher baker to be frank. I thought he could play on an edge but obviously not. I would keep tapau for 26 good minutes and have willison in for baker.

What a circus all round.

I know everyone is going to be ticked off with that performance and in many ways rightly so but it is round 1 and these new players and positions need time to gel. We’ll lose a few more still before that happens. Don’t be surprised if we are something like 1-3 and that’s ok.

The Roosters tonight were just about perfect. All their passes were sticking, everything they tried came off and still, we were right in it until very, very late despite the opposite being true for us.

There were some really good signs in Aquaman, Arthars and Walsh playing Calmer.

Piakura going down screwed everything up and there were a couple of times where East’s were shooting up on Walsh and that had a short pass to Piaks For a try written all over it but he wasn’t there.

I actually liked a lot of what I saw of Cobbo at centre, he’ll get a lot better there but at least he went looking for work, what was Staggs excuse?

Our big 3 looks good, in fact the backline itself looks great once it all clicks. The forwards were decent too but there are too many toilers and that is exactly why we needed Willison. That change I just don’t understand, especially given Taupau played such little minutes. I was not of a fan of the coaching in this game, sorry Kevvie even though I love you.

The big question for me is…how many more games like that before we start worrying about Reynolds?

Also, I don’t agree our team was unfit. It was round 1, the Roosters were gifted set after set after set at our end of the ground and we held them out most of the game, that is going to sap any team, especially one in round 1 off a short and disrupted preseason.

I didn't think it was bad. Tapau should stay in the team I thought he was good. Baker was a wet blanket and willison should get his spot in the team for baker.

The coaching was fine, I thought smoothy to the roaming lock was a great touch and afforded us some nice attack but ultimately we can't win without the ball.

Patty wqs the obvious choice to move to the BR, there really was no other option, probably could have bought smoothy on sooner to link our middle with our backs.

Certainly not unfit. Defended very well and had no possession

The refs mic doersn't pick up Leniu but it sure as hell picks up the immediate reactions of the Broncos that heard it. He is in for a world of pain off the back of this.

Tyson was an alright move but at the end of the day he can’t take a carry. Much needed ball playing at times but it just shows we lost all the multiple dimensions Carrigan brings in the middle. We desperately need a second rower on the bench. Might not go in Hetho’s favour though if Hunt moves to the bench his lack of size might mean he gets the boot. Not that he deserves that. It is in a lot of players and Kev’s best interest to figure out a player to play second row on the fly. They don’t have to start there we can select Hunt and Patston for that but off the bench someone has to be able to do it.

I do wonder whether Hetherington would’ve been the better option to replace Patty in the middle rather than Jensen. Hetherington does offer a bit of ball playing ability which was missing with Jensen and stifled our ability to space out the field.

Patty is pivitol to how we play. We lose so much cohesion and organisation when he moves out of the middle.

Wait... do I like Latrell now... I'm so conflicted.

In all seriousness it's great to see him showing his support for Ezra... now just need Sydney/league media to actually show some class with it as well
Uncle Nick will be making some calls to 'find and erase' the footage and audio, I'm sure.
