I still can't work out why they didn't take him off for a HIA tbh. He was involved in a head clash that split another player's cheek right open.

Bloke in a bar gets worse every week, it's incredible. It's like they are trying to be shit.

what were they talking about tonight? hope their not going down the NRL360 route for ratings

Interesting...I do think that May didn't intend for the outcome, more rushing Walsh. Nether the less, he rushed forward, plants his feet, and on toes, leans into Walsh. Torso and head forward, as he braces for contact.

Much like a hip drop gone wrong, nobody wants the damage. The NRL issued a duty of care prior to the season. The hip drop got penalised, and the judiciary made a statement. Coach's, and players changed style.

I honestly enjoyed some of Kemp's podcasts but they are getting way too long. They just waffle on. His Tuesday one with SC guru and Tim goes for over 3hrs. Absolutely ridiculous.

So looks like we were all right and Luke Patten got it terribly wrong. Also shows that Sutton and the video ref both got it wrong by not putting May in the bin. Will we see these two get stood down for a week or is it only the Broncos and their fans that have to suffer a penalty for May's reckless tackle?

Nothing will come from it. It's the same old song. Sorry, Bronies, oopsies poopsies. Anyway, have fun fighting for points while Penrith get a dick-kissed season.

Kemp is victim of his own success. Thinks the more he talks, the more he'll be listened too. It's now just days of our lives with him. Talks a lot, says nothing.

He's going to be out of business in a couple of years. Much smarter, to the point people, coming through.

I'd have far less of a problem with the process if the circumstances had allowed us to use our 18th man...the system needs adjusting. I mean, even if he was charged by the judiciary and misses a week or two who gives a **** as far as we're concerned? The incident, rightly or wrongly, was deemed worthy of a report and as a direct result of the incident we were without a key player for essentially the whole game.

I actually do give a ****, because it is an issue of consistency. The NRL wants to be taken seriously (and that is internationally now), and they are an absolute joke. There will be a lot of send-offs and suspensions in relation to this now as the NRL once again acts reactively to something that is obvious to all and sundry.

Oh I agree. I was more meaning in the context etc of the actual game. It's that same old chestnut of what do we, the team the was most fucked by the whole situation, get out of it on the night? Nothing...can't even use a player that would have been a near like for like replacement.
