I just can’t spend $170 on a jersey. I bought a “City” jersey for my daughter last year coz she really wanted one. I couldn’t justify the $170 price tag so I bought one on AliExpress and it was so good I bought one for myself. Proper stitched lettering and logos. Really high quality material. I honestly can’t tell the difference when I check out a “real” one. Ended up costing about $35 with players number on back. My son buys heaps of European football (soccer) strips on DHGate and they’re really good too.

Probably because they're all made in the same factory in China :)

Yeah Sailor played a much more controlled game last night than I was ever expecting, less involved in set plays than I thought he would be and no real bold plays, just doing much more running instead.
I think that was the call with the conditions. With all the players we rested against the storm is why I think he was involved in everything.

Broncos had a scrum 20m out attacking and Mam and Sailor were deep in thought and conversation and then it amounted to what could best be described as the Titanic version of an attacking play. Broncos got the penalty anyway and Reynolds took the two but as soon as I saw them "plotting" I thought don't over think it boys just run.

As much as I like him playing for us I feel bad how much its holding up his career that has already had alot of set backs as he is 26, he needs to find a team to play regular football.

He is good player that deserves a shot.
I don’t think he’s a full time NRL fullback yet. He’d be great in the super league but I really don’t think many NRL teams would take him over their current options. There is talent in there without a doubt though.

Storm: Paps
Panthers: Edwards
broncos: Walsh
Dragons: Sloan
Tigers: Bulla
Titans: AJ/Campbell
Dolphins: Hammer
Knights: Ponga
Warriors: 3 good options
Eels: Gutho
Manly: Trbo
Bunnies: Mitchell
Sharks: Kennedy
Cowboys: Drinkwater
Roosters: Teddy

Many of those teams have wingers or centres that would be a better option than Sailor.

I could only really imagine the Bulldogs, or maybe the Raiders wanting a new fullback. Maybe the bunnies if they want to shift Mitchell to centre but they have other good options.

I do think Sailor has a lot of natural ability and could develop into a decent pro player but I don’t think teams will be crawling over each other to sign him.

Well the post-game head to head looks so much better than pre-game:

1. Sailor (Broncos) - Drinkwater showed all the reasons why I just don't rate him
2. Arthars (Broncos) - He wasn't anything phenomenal but the Cows back three were diabolical
3. Staggs (Broncos) - Holmes was also just really bad and Staggs shut him down easily
4. Cobbo (Broncos) - Controversial for some but he ran so many metres, created chances and constantly had a dig
5. Mariner (Broncos) - He is getting closer and closer to blowing a game apart, I don't think I have been this excited in a back coming through since JYY and the similarities are there for all to see
6. Dearden (Cowboys) - Mam was also really good but so was Dearden and try saver was something else
7. Reynolds (Broncos) - Masterclass, played at a level Townsend has never been able to reach
8. Jensen (Broncos) - Laid a wonderful platform, he is severely underrated
9. Walters (Broncos) - Robson was ok but finally, Billy woke up this season
10. Baker (Broncos) - How good was that pass! He is inconsistent at present but that will tighten up
11. Nanai (Cowboys) - Harsh on Hunt and I didn't think I would be saying that!
12. Riki (Broncos) - He's back! The kick chase pressure was back and he looked so much more like the wonderful version of him from last season
13. Carrigan (Broncos) - Best player on the field, what a performance!

14. Smoothy (Broncos) - Best hooker on the ground and given there were four of them, that says something!
15. Neame (Cowboys) - I just rate the bloke and Oates didn't play enough minutes to get in here but great to see Oatesy back
16. Hetherington (Broncos) - He woke up last week and was fantastic again this week, he offers so much for us off the bench with his defense and scything runs
17. Willison (Broncos) - Look out when he gets an offloading licence, this kid is a freak and if we can retain him and Haas, our front row will be frightening for the next decade

14-3 Broncos - what a turn around from the pre-game which I had 12-5 to the Cows.

Agreed.

While we're fortunate to have an excellent second choice FB, fullback spots in the NRL are actually quite competitive. Outside of the 3 teams you mentioned, none of them would swap their fullback for Sailor right now. Souths are also a stretch, Latrell will never want to move and they will never question him.

There's been a lot of chat on how Sailor would slot into "x amount of teams" as their fullback etc etc. But when you break it down, he really wouldn't.

Yeah, if he moved to any other NRL team he would be in the same position as now. Hoping for an injury to fullback or 5/8 to get an extended run.

I guess there could be a utility bench spot for him somewhere.

I actually think parra would take him this year if he were available, there was talks of clint moving from fullback last year to solve their outside back headaches

He was only offside a little bit. That’s to make up for the one in the first half when we scored and the ref said it was forward
He wasn't offside at all

yeah mild regret getting excited and buying the jersey that I won’t likely wear 😂

Other than to the grand final amirite?
Have had a complete fail with this jersey purchase...

My applepay address is an address I never lived in but the street name and number are identical to my previous address, just in nsw. When I set up the account i selected the wrong one from the prepopulated menu. Never bothered to change it. I bought the jersey on my phone and wasn't given the option to enter a mailing address which is normally what I do. The order was placed and I emailed ASICS immediately to notify them, sent follow up emails over the weekend/public holidays... got an email yesterday the order had been shipped. I emailed them again and they were like change it with AUSPOST but provided me no tracking number and now its been delivered to some random bloke in berkley in sydney... I've asked for another jersey to be sent out or a refund and they've told me to eat a dick.

So mild regret is transformed into fml..

Sloan is a Basket case, Sailor would be an improvement in consistency imo.

Des has already permanently moved AJ to centre and Campbell was dropped for the first few rounds I could see him fitting there.

Parra have been looking at moving Gutho to centre so they can have a more creative fullback as Gutho is getting slower.

Dogs and Raiders would improve pretty much right away if he went there from what I've seen, Raiders have Rapana a winger there and Dogs still lack creativity everywhere and need better attacking options.

The biggest thing hurting him is not having regular first grade footy which keeps him out of sight out of mind.

Just for the sake of accuracy, Campbell wasn't dropped for the first few rounds, he was still recovering from an injury he suffered last season.

But he was playing for Tweed the week before he came back?

Uh Oh Oops GIF by tv2norge

Not sure how much there is that you can actually do tbh but I'd maybe press them on not supplying a tracking number so you could change it with Auspost?
