TBH.....I would have assumed Reecye/Broncos staff would be addressing his cramps long before last night's game.
Seems to me that Reece is basically the test subject in his own science experiment. Trial and error, but Reece keeps changing the parameters. The diet changes to allow him to push the envelope, which he does, forcing the dietitians to readjust to the increased ceiling on his abilities. Also, you can only really change x and/or y and see how it goes before you can be sure of what's working.

I'd be putting it down to diet or at least try and change things up and see how it goes.
Every players body works different, someone like Brian To'o smashes cans of coke before a game and is a beast.
I'd imagine with how good Reece is with his natural talent his diet wouldn't be his number one priority but that's just a wild guess.
When I used to play I'd cramp up like Walsh and all I needed to do is smash some magnesium tablets the night before a game and I'd be sweet.
I'm sure the clubs diet team is right on top of this but getting Reece to try something different leading up to the game wouldn't hurt.
I would be very curious to know if To'o is smashing bags of coke too. Furthermore, if he and the rest of that jacked team are "accidentally" sitting on HGH needles that someone put in every seat in their training facility.

We're calling it "cramps" but it might be "spasms."

A cramp comes out of the blue, is painful as **** and needs to be sorted stat. Once it's released by stretching the right surrounding muscles, it's immediately better. That's generally what the physios are doing when they're farting around with their legs.

Leg spasms are tricker. They can feel fine, then suddenly grab and you feel like your back is gone. Again, you need to stretch muscles but they can come straight back with exertion.

Maybe my definitions and remedies aren't textbook - not a physio - but they're not the same thing in my experience.

I think the media calling what these blokes are getting "cramps" is a bit of shorthand. Like calling a cold, the flu.
On an unrelated topic, severe muscle cramps and nausea/vomiting, as well as increased risk of ligament and tendon injuries are known side effects of anabolic steroid misuse.

not implying this about anyone in particular of course. Just a random piece of trivia

...also, shout out to a great turn out at Campeltown.

At least 30% of the crowd were Brisbane supporters too i reckon, maybe more?

How times have changed for us on these southern trips.

It was a sell out crowd which was great to see.

I hope the Tigers fans keep turning up to games in big numbers and keep backing the side. They're showing a lot of fight, more than they have in previous years. They lack a bit of polish when they have chances which is hurting them, but they just need some time. I think Tigers would have beaten a few sides last night.

They went up against the two favourites to win the premiership in the past 2 weeks, it was always going to be a tough ask for them.

They're moving in the right direction, it's just not going to be a quick fix.

I think it's probably a lot harder and a little bit more complex than we think. My thoughts are that he really struggles with appetite when he is nervous - probably the nights before and the morning of each game so he's not able to get the nutrition that he needs in.

So Jock chases one kick and plants it down .
Then backs up Piakura for another try and now he`s one of the boys ?

Amazing the difference just putting downward pressure on a ball in the in goal can make to peoples perspective and opinions .

A few weeks back he was not good enough, Not creative ,could only kick 30 metres and couldn`t tackle , the Broncos needed to buy another half from Super League / Get Sam Walker NOW ! / fast track Coby Black .

FICKLE !

few ppl are always thought he needed game time in FG to build connections and get a better timing with other players shame if he is out for a extended period.

Almost like posters who come in and toot their own horn when they get something right or point out when someone gets something wrong but disappear when they get something wrong.

Fickle

Didn't their board say they need/want to move from Leichardt or something?

Whatever it was, it's lite a fuse under their supporters to come out and vote with their feet.

Judging by the ads, Reece needs to stop smashing the energy drink and get on to better quality supplements...

People were also happy with his play at halfback the week before . When players improve people that don't feel the need to blow their own horn on their opinions are happy to change their previous stance based on the changed scenario

You mean fence sitters with splinters in their bums ? Too meek to express their opinions lest they be found to be wrong ? LOL .

I`ve been on the Jock train a cpl of years now . Choo Choo !!
