Yeah, I just remember him moaning and groaning to foxsports after an nrl game about how he doesnt want to be a hooker, he wants to be a 7.

It was pretty gross to see him doing that publicly. That's probably when Dragons decided he needed to go. You can't have a player undermining the club like that.
Last thing we need is hunt and oates stinking it up because theyre not selected in their preferred positions..... Oates used to be one of the blokes youd watch the game for....now you wouldnt have him cleaning the dunnies at the club

ahh, Badel ... wouldn't know his ass from his elbow most of the time.

he also parrots the lie about Lodge and Bird being free to leave the club.

Walters has even said he hasn't tapped anyone on the shoulder yet

Yeh, he reminds me of the sort of person that lives in a 1950’s stumped house.
Some parts you can walk under fine, others you have to bend over a little.
Poor old Offa would hit his head on the same beam day after day after day.
This analogy is brilliant.

Imagine how much better our side would have been over the years if Yow Yeh was still there.
Imagine how much better it would have been if Bruno Cullen didn't **** up the Karmichael Hunt deal. Honestly losing Karmichael Hunt was probably the biggest **** up in club history.

He was the future for our club. Came from the era with Lockyer, webcke, Carrol, Petro, Berrigan etc and would hang surely turned into a 6 like Lockyer did. That would have fixed us after Lockyers retirement and he would have had the age and maturity now to have groomed someone like Dearden, or even ash taylor, Ben hunt or one of the other young play makers we had come through.

The issue is we went from a super star team, to having basically none of those key positional players in a short period.

you can blame Cullen for a lot of things (his biggest **** up being that of GI) ... but losing KHunt is not among them.

hell, we had big money set aside for him (not your AFL, cap exempt money, but big money nonetheless) ... we even lost several players to give that money to Hunt ... Karmichael Hunt is the first example of a player stringing us along, if Cullen did anything wrong there, it was not pulling the offer months earlier

Kevvie meeting with the recruitment and retention committee tomorrow.

Looks like Kahu, O’Sullivan, Kennar and Luke are unlikely to be re-signed. Lodge possibly also to exit to Warriors.

Kev ruled out bringing McGuire back.

That's fucked if we lose Lodge. I'm sorry but that's a big red cross on the report card from me if we lost one of our best forwards and kept the likes of Joffa.

There's definitely no reason to get rid of Lodge early unless there is another high quality front rower coming in.
I feel like Kennar could be kept on too. I doubt he'd be on anything more than a depth player salary, you still need depth players and he wasn't actually too bad in the games he's played.
