I simply think Copley is better than Reed, but I also understand WB's decision, especially when looking at the salary Dale was on, and his shorter term contract.
Reed is the type of player Wayne loves, and deserves respect for always putting everything in when wearing our jersey. He isn't a top centre, but he is better than a lot of current NRL centres, albeit if we get the chance to replace him with Inglis, while also losing Maranta and Glenn, I would jump at the chance.
Really? The club will forever rue the day they let Dale Copley go.
I'm sorry that my opinion differs to yours.
Perhaps Internet message boards are not for you.

Amazed that people still take Rabbir seriously, he's like broccoli.
Mate is just that your opinion is always so negative and controversial, it is hard to believe.
I do think Copley is a lose, but not a big lose because what we have gained for losing him.
Maranta can cover more positions as a back up rather than Copley.Really?
I rate Copley, I do. His 2014 form was great, and I think he could be expected to produce more of the same with an extended run at left centre. He may well do so at the Roosters.
Had the choice been in my hands, I'd rather have offloaded Maranta and/or Reed, but that's a moot point now.
That said, rue forever? No. Good player, but never going to be an all time great.
How so?Maranta can cover more positions as a back up rather than Copley.
How so?
Both are serviceable on the wing (admittedly Maranta is the safer option of the two), and can cover one other position.
I don't think any versatility Maranta offers couldn't be handled by rotating other players to either wing or fullback. Copley has more upside in the centres than Maranta at 1.
Look I like Copley but Glenn could cover centre at a pinch but not wing or fullback. For the money I would keep Maranta as the back up outside the top 17.How so?

Mate you can say whatever you want about Rabbir, but don't you dare disrespect broccoli, most underrated vegetable in the world.
