Round 2 Discussion

Cronulla are looking slick, Heighington is doing a great job of getting them over the advantage line and the halves are taking full advantage.

Canberra are out on their feet.

Now Maloney with the 40/20.

It's been some second half performance from Cronulla. 14-0 second half performance, 24-10 Cronulla.

Make that 18-0 after 16 minutes into the second half...

The Raiders are all over the place out there..

This makes me feel better after last night.

Also Ricky leutele is quickly developing into a really good centre and could come into contention for a centre spot this year for maroons

Is it just me or would everyone like to see someone plant one on Maloney

He won't be playing for QLD this year.

That's a guarantee.

Shouldn't that be 10 in the bin?

The referee threatens Gallen that one more penalty he was going to bin somebody, the Sharks concede one albeit deep in the Raiders half and nothing.

It'd only been a few minutes since the last indiscretion from the Sharks.

Cronulla made a statement in that second half. That was even better than the Roosters first half against the Titans and if they can keep everybody on the field they'll go extremely close once again.

Bird made a real fist of fullback. The way he moves around the ground just engages so many defenders and makes life so much easier for his outside men. Even though they've got Holmes to come in, Bird has forced his hand and surely Flanagan will have to go with Bird at fullback, Holmes wing and Beale in the centres.

Canberra didn't play well, but they were rolled by a great performance.

Soft effort by Walker, between that, that obstruction penalty and his goal-kicking he's proven a real bust for Manly.

I still can't believe he played State of Origin last year. @Broncoman how did that selection make you feel?

I Didn't like it and was critical of it and I was proven correct. Probably was a Fulton influenced selection.

If I was a Blues fan, that selection would have made me sick to my stomach.

He compromised the entire side, using his position to lure a player to his club robbing far more deserving players.

For all we know, that mistake in Game 1 probably cost your state the series.

And that's been the story of the Blues for awhile. Too many agendas, not enough leadership.

And Gould has been spot on about them, but they don't listen.

Hopefully Sterlo can change that and State of Origin can get back to being this unpredictable battle, because at the moment it's a matter of how much QLD is going to win by..

Ha, I was going to say...

You're right though, Lichaa has proven to be a bust at Canterbury and it amazes me that Des hasn't done more to help him. If I was Des, I'd start Lichaa on the bench in the next game and bring in Craig Garvey for the early exchanges. Not only would I be challenging Garvey to earn himself a permanent NRL spot, but I'd also be giving Lichaa directions to run the football against the tired defence 25 minutes into the contest.

It would be a small change, but it would go a long way in the long run.

I'm 0/6 in the tipping guys.
