Hope Shibasaki gets a run. I think he is our best young center personally.

We will miss TPJ the most... hopefully he is right to go.

Defensively Isaako was quite good and came up with a few try savers.

When it comes to attack however, he didn't offer much so I can see why Bennett is moving Boyd to fullback.

I would be very surprised if Boyd doesn't play most of the game in the centres, and only goes in to fullback when we're in the opposition's 20.

IMO we have a halfback problem, not a hooker problem. Get a proper halfback and all this team’s problems go away. Milford can be Milford, Niko can go back to his best position as bench hooker to provide the spark we had in 2015 against tired forwards and Macca can take the early brunt without tackling himself into exhaustion.

I think it's pretty clear we are saying the same thing

Call it whatever problem you like, but it still comes down to a better 7 and more spark out of dummy half

And quicker play the balls..

Not missing any point, not just whining like a little kid about a bloke saying he will follow the Cowboys next year. Yep, his form isnt what it used to be, but his effort and commitment to the Broncos while playing for the Broncos isnt really in question. When he was playing at his absolute best he would have been thinking exactly the same about the Cowboys as he is now. I think a few pant wetters on here are making far more of it than the media are.
Lots of character attacks in this thread and no real responses to the problems people have. Good chat.

I can see both sides to the argument. While it would be naive to think that players are only "fans" of the club they are currently playing for, it's a bit different for a player who has played their whole career for the one club, been a captain as a fill-in and for an entire season, and has been used in ambassadorial roles throughout his whole career.

Disregarding that, the Broncos owe Sam just as much as he owes the Broncos, he really has been iconic for us. But again, it could have been worded with slightly more tact. "I have a soft spot for them, my family all support them, I grew up there, but while ever I'm suiting up for the Broncos anyone else is the enemy".

Its not a character attack, I just think you ( amongst others ) are being a whiny little kid and a pant wetter about the whole thing. Nothing about you in general, just this topic. You dont respond to a lot of comments either. Tell us whats wrong with his commitment to the Broncos in his time with us ( should be interesting to see your thoughts ), tell us why what he does with his own life next year has such an effect on what he is doing now. Why do you let something that hasnt even happened yet bother you? I cant see anywhere that he says he is dumping the Broncos and is going to go all Gorden Tallis on us.

You also go on about him giving the media something after they have tried to derail us all year, whats he given them really? You have made more of it than they have quite honestly. Cant see any article where they have beaten him or us up about it. Could be wrong and if i am then show me. I just dont see it.

I'd agree, a little more tact would have been nice, but i think some on here have just jumped on his comment and presumed he is going to turn into a Bronco hating cowboy from next year.

I reckon without tpj, taumalolo is gonna have a field day and Thurston will expose our ruck defence and edge defence. I can see Gavin cooper crossing for a try which is worth a bet too.

Well, if we lose to the Cowboys, we've got 2 tough as **** games right afterwards too (Souffs and Roosters), so could theoretically go 0 from 3 over next 3 weeks. Might get knocked out of the 8. Then we also have Manly last, they always seem to lift for us.

To be fair, without reading or seeing the whole interview, it's not the sort of comment that gives you confidence in him putting in 100% for us. Especially considering he was on the field, supposedly doing everything he could to prevent the Cowboys winning their first ever premiership, and saying what he did the week before we play them again.
