One thing I do find odd is I haven't seen any posts from 1910 , Joe etc since this all went down.

Was thinkin the same thing. Maybe they are on 'gardening leave' with JD too lol

I was starting to find it mildly irritating some of the absolute BS that WB sprouts on occasions and that no one seems to call him on. An example was the press conference today, where he raved on about how sorry he felt for the support staff at the Broncos that had been stood down etc etc and that has not happened here with what I took to be the implied criticism of the Broncos. Well, from my perspective:
1. The club was trying to negotiate an amicable transition of coaches that was going to involve the support staff as well, but that got torpedoed on Friday by Bennett's own actions. If the support staff have been left out to dry, guess what, I am looking at you Mr Bennett.
2. The reason that it has not happened at Souths is that Furner took up a position in England and Seibold brought three of his assistants with him. That would appear to me that there are four vacancies available at Souths, if you care so much about their predicament go knock on Shane Richardson's door and tell him you want them as your staff.

They weren’t going to give all of the staff office jobs when Seibold brought his own support staff with him

I don't recall saying that, can you show me where I did? My understanding was that senior management at the Broncos were in discussion with their opposites at South Sydney about roles for some or all of the support staff with Souths as part of an orderly transition. I thought that I had made that clear, my apologies if I had not.

You implied that the staff would be involved in the same amicable transition that was offered to Wayne. Where do you think they were going to get transitioned to?

the vacancies created when Seibold brought his support staff with him.

I can't imagine Bennett will be working without a high performance manager and a couple of assistants

Are you being deliberately obtuse, not reading things properly, or are you really tired or drunk? In my original post I stated that there were four vacancies now at Souths arising from Furner moving to England and Seibold bringing three assistants with him. Clearly it was always Seibold's intention to bring those staff members with him.

Bennett is gone and surely that is the best thing for everyone concerned. The unfortunate thing is that Seibold inherits Bennett's somewhat clunky playing roster which still does not include a proven consistent game manager.
