I’m really looking forward to seeing this kid play, and I love it when young guys want to be long term Broncos. Could have done without the Jai Arrow comparison, I didn’t rate him.

So glad to hear that 'club legend' wasted his time flying up here to make the big money sales pitch and failed miserably. Would have been such a crap flight back to Sydney. 'Suffer in yer jocks' Chris!

Some clubs really have no idea. I get that Carrigan is a wonderful prospect, but the Dogs don’t need any more back rowers or locks. Also, haven’t they been done in the last few years for cap infringements? Or was that purely an issue with Des back ending contracts? Either way, they need spine players and outside backs more than they need edge forwards/ locks. They’re a bit skinny on props, but Carrigan would be a waste on huge money at prop imo, he’d need to be playing lock.

For the guy who said he doesn't rate Jai Arrow, you have got to be kidding. Arrow is an exceptional player and will only get better. I was absolutely filthy when we lost him. Great young player.

Prop is his best position imo. How we will set up under Seibold though its not really going to matter where he plays, he will be a middle forward.

He is , but carrigan will be better. That's why we didn't fight hard for arrow.

then there is fighting hard and there is fighting stupid ... matching the Titans offer (and likely starting spot) for Arrow would have been fighting stupid

I understand but from what i've heard is they rated carrigan above jai. Which imo is a great compliment because I rate arrow.

They also rate Carrigan above Mcguire by the looks of it, so Carrigan must be held in bloody high regards by the club and coaching staff.

He is a big unit as well and can easily handle the middle, that's one thing he has over Arrow and McGuire is legitimate size.

he weighs the same as McGuire (104 kg) he is taller though, but not really sure if that matters too much for a forward
