not working
Do people still say "Just win ffs" before games? And I don't mean in a joke or an ironic way. In the past it used to be posted with a lot of heart and charisma, that's why it worked.
not working now,,,oh the giggles to be had .....

Disagree.

We tried to get Bellamy, because we know for a fact he knows how to coach a side to be defensively minded. Once that failed, Wayne was pulling all the strings to get out of town, and bring the whole thing down with him if he could.

You cant be serious. If we gave Wayne a 2 year contract, he would have signed it. He didnt want to leave here. It was the Broncos who wanted rid of Wayne and tried to get Bellamy then Seibs. Thats when things changed for him.

Milford straight up just drops it cold, or uses his "footwork" and goes nowhere. Milford has to be one of the worst five-eighths in the game. That is not an overreaction after today's match, but its been evident for the past four years. The move to five-eighth has made him put on weight, which has resulted in him losing his speed and footwork. Without those two things, he is bog average. His defence is pretty bad too.
I disagree. I think Milford tries a lot harder than he gets credit for. He recovers a lot of ball in the in goal, and usually tries to bring down bigger men even after he has missed then. I don't know if you go to many games, but going to the games you get a very different perspective on it and can see the ones who try.

It's plausible that Wayne would've stayed, but I think he was resigned to the fact that he wasn't winning anything with this roster if he did stay, it would've been a retirement party for 2 years. The defensive issues are too ingrained.

Things make a lot more sense when you look at it from that perspective. As you said, once he realised that the Broncos were in the market for Seibold, everything changed for him, not because of what the Broncos were doing, but because he realised the Souths coaching job would be vacated and he'd have a chance to retire with another ring.

I was hoping the defensive issues I noticed last season would just vanish with a new coach, they didn't.

I seriously couldn't give 2 shits about our attack right now, we'll score points eventually with the players we have, the absolute only issue worth discussing, or fretting about is defense.

I could see these issues coming a mile away. I was posting stats last year in regards to our points conceded, every single year after 2015 our defense got worse, and worse, and worse, and worse. This season looks to be the pinnacle of our defensive woes.

I can see why Wayne wanted to get out of dodge, he's not stupid, he could see the defensive issues were too deep to fix in an off-season or two, this is going to take an entire foundational re-build, roster, structure, fundamentals, systems, everything. There may be incremental improvements Seibold can make to it this year, but it won't be anything to write home about.

Strap yourselves in, the 1 year plan just became a 3-4 year plan.
2015 had Hodges and jack reed and the other guy but with good shoulders. I thought bird was good in defence but he gets bumped off a lot, his technique leaves a lot to be desired. Isaako on the other side constantly coming in.... you can’t fix being able to read the attacking line. Roberts likes the attacking player to get on his outside shoulder so he can angle him out and that was fine until isaako (who comes in) ***** that up “he’s doesn’t get it”

Isaako will never change he doesn’t see the game in front of him. Bird can with fucking tackling practice “go figure” and milf actually just go for the legs you fuckers.

I have said it before, but i'm thinking Seibold could well be the right coach at the wrong time for us. I truly dont believe as a club we were ready to move on from Bennett. Him staying would have let him help bring on the kids, and ease out the likes of Boyd, Macca and Gillo. Plenty go on behind the scenes where they could have got Seibs to sign a 2 year deal at Souths then we swoop in for him then

What a bullshit statement, I pray that we turn our season around so you can eat fucking dirt and look like a bigger fool than you already do. He's not a hack, far from it. Fans like you will always expect to win every game and that's so unrealistic that you thinking it's possible further demonstrates your stupid statement.

It was a close game, sometimes you lose them. Guess what, we've lost all our close games this season. We easily could've won them in which case you'd be nowhere to be seen. That sums up everything you say perfectly.

I don’t expect to win every game. Some games would be great though.

I was here after the cowboys games as pumped as anyone else. I want us to win, but we won’t with this bloke at the helm.

You proved my point, you were full of praise after a win but kicking us to the gutter after every loss since. That sums you up as a supporter. Thanks for proving my point by the way.

Ease out Boyd and Gillo? Bloke fucking signed them for 4 fucking years! nor 2, not 3 FUACKING 4!!!!

Shut up Anthony Seibold. The team you're picking is pathetic and their performances have been pathetic. We can be mad if we want. Imagine if you didnt put effort in at work for a month fucking straight. You'd be sacked.

I called him a hack before a ball was even kicked mate. I wasn’t praising him, but I was pumped we won. I actually said it takes no coaching ability to get the broncos up to play the cowboys

Oh yep. You are right. Bennett has never encouraged blokes to retire early has he. My Mistake :mhmmm:
Why sign them for 4 years though? Like actually tell me how that makes any sense? Also keep in mind that both players were injured when they signed the contract. Darius with Hamstring injury and Gillett with Neck and Shoulder issues. Why sign two 30 year olds for 4 years on 700k+ contracts? Tell me in what world that makes sense?

I actually think Nikorima at five-eighth with a proper halfback would be better than Milford at five-eighth with that same halfback. Nikorima can pretty much do everything Milford can do, except for kicking. I'd also go as far as to say that Nikorima does every thing else better than what Milford can, at a fraction of the price. He seems to be way more effective when running, he has a better passing game than Milford, he seems to have a better attitude than Milford, and he seems to try harder too. Plus Milford's kicking game isn't spectacular either. He just puts up midfield bombs up most of the time, with a few good grubbers here and there.

We all laughed at the Hunt deal, but I'd take him on a mil at the moment over Milford.

Show me the quote.

You seem to be someone who would be better suited to posting on Facebook.

Boyd didnt have the history of hamstring injuries we we signed him up, he just had his first one at the time. No evidence at all it would be ongoing like it was. Gillo's contract was just an extension as well IIRC and both contracts would have been in the negotiating stage long before their injuries. Cant quite see the issue with Gillo, he isnt playing poorly.
