That’s great. You probably had every confidence in the pre season hype as well.
Well I certainly didn't expect to make the 8 with the current roster and either Seibold or WB as coach. He will make the calls WB didnt
Hope that clarifies it for you

**** me , this place! Bunch of bitchs some of you boyd this macca that. Same shit every week.

Feel free to find my post game comments from last week and copy them into here.
Same here except change Raiders to sharks, 6 to 7, 10 to 11 and 13 to 14

What a super coach!
At least we have only got 4 more years and 20 rounds of this shit to put up with.

It is utterly embarrassing as a fan to be sitting where we are on the ladder.
We have a 27mil $ facility, we make the most money of any club in the nrl, we get the best turn around in the league, we are a one town club.
It’s pathetic.
14th on the ladder is not acceptable.
This team is not acceptable.

Every person in the entire organisation needs a good hard look at themselves.
2019 is done and it’s **** beyond disappointing.

I have now confirmed Darius is the worst captain in the clubs history.
I’d be happy for us to subsidise 99.9% of his ridiculous salary to play at souffs

I wrote this two years ago before we played Canberra:

I don't see Canberra having any real weaknesses so it won't be easy. They are going to come hard and like all RS coached sides, straight up the guts first. I think they'll earn the right to spin it wide. Even though we've got a good team ,a team of gorillas will wear any side down eventually . It could be another night of heartbreak. Would love to see some shoulders being driven into some thighs and ribcages. With Hunt and Milford pretty much useless when they go high I can see very easy metres for the Raiders. Scarey game

I was talking about Milford's lousy tackling and today, two years later against the same opponents he is doing the same shit. We're paying a million dollars a year to a turkey that won't learn from his mistakes. How about we focus on Milford and what he costs us in metres and in tries. Todays loss isn't totally Milford's fault but the twp tries were. A simple legs tackle from side on, a third stringer could do it in his sleep.

Seriously, how did you miss Milford's appalling tackles which directly resulted in tries ? You picked out his failing to chase kicks but it isn't critical, a lot of halfbacks, 5/8s don't.

I didn't miss them. They were worse than appalling. I missed posting that - thanks for pointing it out. The tackling that led to most of their tries was absolute garbage, and, if Seibold's presser comments about the team "learning" something mean anything, it will be that the individuals responsible for the shithouse tackling will be targeted at training ... and that includes Isaako's repetitive weekly failures to stay on his wing and mark his opposite.

Just watched the presser and have every confidence in him. He will turn this around. Talks a lot of sense. Also believe he will make the hard calls. Be patient everyone.
I remember the same rubbish being said about Henjak and Hook. Look how that turned out. Seibs is a spud and this current gig is going to ruin his career.

Also,
**** me , this place! Bunch of bitchs some of you boyd this macca that. Same shit every week.

We are fans of the club and what they are dishing up each week is not acceptable for a club with the money and fascilities they have available to them.

If he doesn't make the tough calls soon then yes. He inherited this team so he gets some leeway there, but running out with the same spine every week isnt acceptable when it's evident to everyone that it isn't working.

We can all agree that there is something wrong but l honestly have no idea what the issue is.

Who did we lose in the offseason Thaiday, Sims, McGuire and Kahu? I was ok with losing Sims and Thaiday but when we released Kahu and McGuire it did raise an eyebrow. Don't get me wrong on a personal level l didn't mind these guys got a better deal (Kahu and McGuire) but as a club l didn't think it was in our favor. However we has Isaako and a gluttony of second rowers on the books so hell it was a calculated gamble.

We changed the coach but that again seemed like a calculated gamble especially in the long term perspective of things.

So what the **** is wrong?

Is the coaching that much worse?
Is it a "teething work" in progress with the new structures and coaching?
Did our players just turn to shit?

Our core is the same...we really should not be this far behind. I just don't get it.

If you want proof mate go find it, it’s all there
Proof that you're a flakey fan? The proof is everywhere.

How about you back the team instead of being a weak supporter who has no idea about football.

Imagine if the doctor whispered to the nurse "that child is a hack" immediately after your precious child was born? Would you back your child? Would you give that child a chance to grow and improve?

Stop being a naysayer, either leave the forums or back them with constructive criticism.

So disappointing. The spine has to change. Glenn and Gillett are not effective second rowers as a collective. The bench is not being used effectively. Haas playing 80 mins?? He was ineffective in the last 25m. Su’A and Fifita are not being used to their ability. I’m sorry this is the coach’s problem.

I’ve backed the team every week mate and much to my dismay my read on the coach was 100% spot on.

I believe you you show me, you show me the proof.

He has been calling seibold a hack since last year. It’s the only thing he talks about actually. If Milford knocks on, it’s seibold fault. If tpj misses a game because his grandma died, it’s seibolds fault.

This is true, you can't question the consistency.

From what Seibold said in the press conference it sounds like flicking McGuire and Kahu was more of the club's decision than his. The club wants to go in a new direction, which is fine, but we still possess the key contributors to our lack of success. So the club has gone half way with their total rebuild or they think that keeping Macca, Boyd, and Gillett around until the kids 'mature' is a good idea. What they don't understand is that eventually a parasitic club will come sniffing when our kids start to truly hit their straps and snap them up one by one whilst we're stuck paying close to 2 mil to our ever-faltering vets. Case in point: TPJ (although not our jr we put the work into developing him).

EDIT: all we seem to do this century is produce quality players for other clubs. Just look at the amount of ex-Broncos running around in the NRL. For example, we should have been allowed to have matched the Drags' Hunt offer without the full amount going on the cap; there's no incentive to produce talent.
