Yes Fifita is already better in my opinion and I think Sua will pass him soon as well, hence a modest contract for depth... Glenn brings a lot off the field and is a good bench player until Sua becomes fit and surpasses him.

If Glenn can grab a 3 year contract with potential to start elsewhere we can't match it, but we also can't just let him go without offering him anything.... not a good look from a squad moral point of view

Sua would want to get a wriggle on. He’s been passed by Carrigan in the pecking order.

Our attack looked much more fluid tonight than in recent weeks, and our defense was also much improved. It was also good to see the ball being locked up in the tackles too. In the past few weeks teams have been able to pop late offloads and it was costing us.

If we can keep our first choice forward pack on the field together from here on out, we can match a lot of the top teams and cause them all sorts of problems. A lot of positives to take out of tonight and a lot to still improve on. Definitely a step in the right direction. Overall a good win which can hopefully instill some confidence in the team and kick-start a bit of a run.

Can’t wait to see highlights, didn’t get to watch it!!

Imagine how good this team will be when we have a coach who half of the people on here haven't written off already!

2 and 5 and the two teams we’ve beaten have been useless. I’m glad for the win and we played well, but far from convinced.

Agreed but on that performance I still struggle to see us defeating Souths who are playing very tough committed football. Don't get me wrong, I'm pleased with the 5% improvement on last week and the win but our performance tonight must be balanced by a critical appraisal of our opponents. Losing Dugan and Johnson so early plus the fact that the Sharks are without a host of regulars means we need to keep our win in perspective. Next week will be a massive challenge and Souths will give their all for WB and not because of the Bronco's saga but because no team wants to let him down especially on such a big night and at home in front of their fans.

POTS voting is tough as shit for this one, I'll go with -

3. Lodge
2. Milford
1. Haas

But you could easily make an argument for Milford MOTM and TPJ / Oates in the mix.

Why would we expect anything different Thomas?

He isnt wrong though, next week is the test. The Roosters or the Storm, probably even Souths would have put close to 50 on the Sharks tonight i reckon, they wouldnt have taken their foot off their throat. Sharks were probably the worst side i have seen all year.

What it does give us is a good platform to build from. If we can complete our sets and compete well even if we lose i wont be too concerned. I'm really hoping this is a turning of the corner for us. I'd love Seibold to come out and stick it to Tallis and Lazarus.

At least you are predictable.

I’m trying to be balanced.

Getting excited about beating this sharks team is a bit over the top. They wouldn’t have beaten anyone tonight.
