I hope Niko goes well, I still feel like he's a Bronco at heart. Broncos need to win though.

I really like Niko, I hope he goes well, but we better not go soft on him like we have with Hunt in the past, avoiding targeting his weaknesses.

Last night felt like a turning point, unique energy. I think the group of blokes that played last night bought in and are excited and want to be a team. Very important game.

A lot of great Bronco sides have had their pants pulled down in NZ over the years. Considering this current lot haven't won a road game, it will be a tough task.

No doubt, but Roosters were a tough task and we handled them beautifully. I bet they are itching to get over there and dig in. It just felt like everyone finally knew what their job was and did it.

Just run at Nikorima all night and we should make 20-30m a hitup and score 10 tries. I never understand why teams don't target him more. Everytime a team went down that side with him they would make huge metres or score a try.

yeh, only a matter of time before Brisbane wins on the road.....more than likely to happen against the Warriors but if not...im sure it will be sooner rather than later...

Not a bad run for the next few weeks. Warriors, BYE, Gold Coast, Eels, Knights. This game against the Warriors is very important with us going into the BYE
Yeah, but conveniently smack bang in the middle of origin season. Gah!

There's a time difference factor crossing the Tasman, plus the process of flying for any length of time ***** you up more than you'd think. That has to have some toll. I know from tons of flying between the UK and Europe, even a couple of hours messes your sleep around for a few days.

Absolutely huge game for us with the following draw. A win will put us on the spring board into the 8.
Origin has the potential to affect Souths and Roosters a lot this year.

It sounds like origin could seriously impact us this year as well

Gillett and Oates certainties for Qld
Haas looks a serious chance for NSW along with TPJ and Lodge
Also Offa and Fifita look like a chance for QLD

Not to mention some of the incumbents from last year falling away... notably RCG, opening up spots in the team

If our middle forwards roll like they dud against the Roosters pack and we show aggression in defense again we will win comfortably. Lodge, Haas and TPJ did nothing fladh, they just hit the line hard and bent it to breaking point. The Roisters did well to hang on as most ither sides would have just crumbled.

The Warriors will crumble, the Brincos will dominate the middle and we will score atleast 40 points

I spot in the 8 is very much up for grabs for the winner of this match.

Yes, we need at least two of the Tigers, Sharks and Eels to lose, and then the points differential comes into play. All but the Eels have a bye the following week, when they'll play the Bunnies.

My prediction is if we can put 20+ on the Warriors, we'll be comfortably in the eight within two weeks and also showing we're not a flash in the pan.

I like your confidence and hope u are right.

Make no mistake this is a danger game.

We had a big performance against the Roosters, it would have been very draining. Add travel to another country on top of that and history suggests we could be very lethargic and flat in this game.

Complacency is also an issue with such a young side.

If that is the case, it could be a bad night for us.

But if we can wrap up the ball, defend strongly, play with energy and a bit of variety in attack then we will give ourselves every chance of winning this game and I think this is an important game.

Mathematically it's not a must win but I think a win here will make the Origin period a little easier for us as it would boost our confidence even more.

What a load of shit.
When will you understand the plan is to build a footy side first and then worry about top eights and premierships.
We are coming along nicely, be happy with that.

Righto, Gaz. Relax mate. Obviously we’re in a rebuilding phase but fans are still allowed to be happy that the 8 isn’t out of the realms of possibility quite yet.
