Wayne didnt leave us over the cap, i dont know where that comes from. We have another 3 or 4 people managing our cap. Bennett has an input, but i'd say White and Lanigan are the major players when it comes to cap management.
Yes 100%, didn't 1910 (?) list all the people that are on that board? As much as I loved Lockyer as a player he and others on that board need to be on notice.

I would love to see some proof. Because all the reports say otherwise. The club facilitated a move for McGuire to Cowboys and Bennett was consulted. All of this while Seibold was still at Souths.

You keep kidding yourself with your anti Wayne agendas.

Watching the coaches press conference doesn’t exactly fill me with confidence either.

I'm not sure mate. I'd guess Nolan may be involved as he is our recruitment officer, but Lanigan and White would control the purse strings.,

I feel it’s the lingering Bennett factor for some players. Especially now that Roberts and sua have gone, what’s to stop a player in getting a mindset of if things go to shit here they can always call Wayne?
the salary cap.

We have had some shit goes with refs this year but that wasnt one of them. They kept us within 14 points.
I agree that most of the game they kept us in it but at the end there were a few stray calls that didn't make sense. Right when we looked to maybe find some points

so.....another 2 hours of my life I'm unable to get back I guess...

1. In the NRL, it doesn't matter who you are, too many injuries to your first 13 ends up catching up to you. Melbourne are bulletproof and have started the same 17 all season. Logic tells you what any NRL coach would prefer. Our churn of players has been relentless...I don't care how you rate them, the fact is that they had friends at the club who are now struggling to see them play somewhere else. They may even be a "who's next" feeling going through the club, as im sure the players have known for ages that salary cap issues meant some of them had to leave. How does that hanging over anyones head...make them play better?

2. Modern NRL structures aren't rocket science. You need speed out of dummy half, supporting fullbacks and edge forwards who follow hit ups and have a running back three who can catch a high ball and make minimum 20 metre kick returns. I can't say for sure why, but for whatever reason it appears Boyd and Macca are part of the starting 13. I think we have to accept it.

3. So, its pretty obvious we are now looking over our shoulder instead of looking up the ladder. This season is officially over for us. When the Origin teams are named tomorrow, I want, nay DEMAND, that Coates gets his debut for the club. Keep this team intact and start introducing guys who you'd want to be a part of our 30 in 2020. Milf can be the no 1, Boyd can stand there at 6....can someone tell me why Carrigan and Fleger cant get a start next week? What fucking difference would it make regardless...get them out there and let us see what they can do..

4. Three half backs so far this year, 2 of them teenagers........I cant say anymore....

Could be coincidence but hasn't a lot of this shit started since that Manly guy became chairman of the board 🤔🤔🤔

Seibold has said that we are going to continue with Milf and Darius.
Fox sports are even calling for Darius to be dropped.
Honestly, wtf is going on at this club.
Get rid of Darius. He is horrendous.

Denial, Anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance.

This is literally the stages I’ve been through watching Broncos......

Bargaining? Like for every 10 minutes you sit through you get to have another beer?

It's tough because next week is origin affected, but the week after, Dearden could be back and probably isaako also.

1. Isaako
2. Oates
3. Staggs
4. Shibasaki (even though he's a turd, hes better than Boyd)
5. Coates
6. Milford
7. O'Sullivan/Dearden
8. Lodge
9. Turpin
10. Haas
11. Fifita
12. Gillett
13. TPJ
14. Segey
15. Offa
16. Glenn
17. Flegler

Alternate would be Milford at fullback with Isaako on a wing and Coates centre. bringing O'sullivan and Dearden as halves. Or maybe Paix. Either way, Boyd 100% has to go. Macca is passed it, but he tries at least. Boyd literally does nothing.

Would it then be safe to assume that majority of people responsible for our recruitment and retention are still at the club?
