Boyd managed to stuff our comeback in 2 plays that were plain embarrassing.

Macca needs to stop running/ruining the attack when in the 20. The amount of passes to ‘flat footed’ forwards is nuts.

Poor Milf is pretty much run our whole spine with SOS chipping in occasionally.

We still have zero structure in attack and our defence is still woeful. Whoever our attack and defence coaches are we need our money back.

Siebs needs to find something cos there is something off about this group.

Prepare your assholes because I'm going in dry, because right at this moment, this team is bottom 4 quality.

1. Milford - Full credit to him, in a well beaten side he shook off the fullback rust pretty quickly and at the end looked like our most threatening player. Even so, it still didn't amount to much, and as our highest paid player he must realize he is gonna get some heat. 5
2. Oates - Signs a new contract and is immediately well out of form. It doesn't get much more clearer than that how shit this season has been. However his shit form is just a symptom of broader problems. 4
3. Staggs - Didn't shame himself and was good with the goals but was otherwise unsighted. At the very least is far, far better centre than his partner. 5
4. Shibasaki - Absolute trash. Offers nothing in either defence or attack, has a stupid haircut and wouldn't make first grade at any other side. He stands as a beacon to the massive depth problems we have right now. 3
5. Kennar - Pretty similar to Oates form in a lot of ways. Didn't do anything overtly bad but wasn't a stand out either. Again, a symbol of our big problems with depth. 4
6. Boyd - It is no coincidence that as soon as Boyd moves to the halves, our attack goes from bad to miles worse. He is fucking done. I couldn't care less if dropping him would piss off the players, suck it up. He's shit and he's done. 0
7. SoS - Hard to get a read on because of the form of the whole side but I'm not seeing any reason why Dearden should be feeling concerned. Knows how to give away a cheap error. 5
8. Lodge - Can't fault him for effort but he ends up with the ball more times then his halves because his hooker is a useless fuckwit. 6
9. McC - OH LOOK it's the useless fuckwit. As soon as Turpin replaced him we looked half threatening. Passes it one out to forwards because he doesn't know what else to do, grapples like a bitch in tackles and often falls off and brings the entire teams tempo down to Mitch McConnell turtle level. He must go and go now. 0
10. Haas - Again, can't fault his effort, he made some good runs in the 2nd half, but nowhere near enough of an effort to say he can hold his head up while the rest can't. 6
11. Fifita - He is obviously a work in progress but in a well beaten side, I think he was one of our betters. Finally got some decent minutes and gave the defence headaches at times. Still, well beaten...6
12. Gillett - Honestly, he isn't where he should be for his profile and pay grade. The honeymoon for the injury excuse is quickly running out of time, and when it does suddenly people start to wonder if you aren't cooked. 4
13. TPJ - Put in a really good 400k a season performance.....5

14. Turpin - Once again our only shining light. As soon as he came on, we looked like a side with some energy and movement. It was way too late a move by the coach who I'll deal with in a minute, but to be honest he has a right to demand being a starting hooker at this point, and if another club offers him that he would be mad not to take it. 7
15. Joe O - Another textbook nothing Joe O performance. Didn't seem to turn the momentum when he came on and just largely mediocre. Pretty much exactly what you'd expect in a side beaten. 4
16. Flegler - I fear he has regressed a bit because of the teams piss poor form. He doesn't seem to have the aggression he had early on in the year coming off the bench. Still, he is a far better option than anyone else we have. 4
17. Carrigan - Wasn't impressed. Can't really even remember him being out there. Benefit of the doubt and all that but I'm not seeing what you're seeing @Wolfie 4

And finally the coach. Anthony, listen to me man. You must get your claws into this playing group and fucking fast. There is a lot more to commanding a side and a club then just chopping and changing players until you find the 17 that will just tolerate you the most. You MUST sell your philosophy to them and soon, otherwise you will be a coach without a team as early as next year. Bennett and Souffs might be in a slump, but they're still well within their rights to be laughing at us right now, and frankly at the end of the day that is on you, and let me tell you this, fans are not gonna be able to cop much more of it.

Yeah I have to agree with you there.
Things looked to premeditated and stale with WB and Seb’s was supposed to be the breath of fresh air the broncos were looking for. The longer this season goes on, the more things are falling apart and that fresh air is starting to smell like shit.
Even with all the players that are leaving, there are far more issues going on then what we see on the footy field.

Wayne didnt leave us over the cap, i dont know where that comes from. We have another 3 or 4 people managing our cap. Bennett has an input, but i'd say White and Lanigan are the major players when it comes to cap management.

Would that be the same Paul White that either yourself (or it might have been someone else if so my apologies) that said had nothing to answer for the current mess?

I can't say for sure why, but for whatever reason it appears Boyd and Macca are part of the starting 13. I think we have to accept it.

We do not have to accept it as fans if we believe strongly that those 2 being apart of the starting 13 is having a detrimental affect of our club winning games or at the very least competing.

Milf can be the no 1, Boyd can stand there at 6

Why would he?

He has no chance of any sort of media deal. Why would he give up on $500-800k a season (depending what article you read) for 2 years?

Like honestly, as if anyone would. We just need to cop the loss.

Which is why the easiest way to deal with this situation is grow some kahunas and put the stubborn prick back to reserve grade and he can see the rest of his deal there if he wishes. You would find out pretty quick if he is just here to collect his retirement cheque or if he actually has any pride left in his performances anymore. You can play the sentimental card all you want but there is no arguing that his performances are not NRL standard and doesn’t deserve to be just handed a first grade jersey every week out of emotion.

I don’t care that he has played 300 NRL games, I don’t care that he is experienced, you cannot tell me there isn’t at least one bloody fullback playing reserves that will at least contribute more than Boyd currently can. Hell if you can catch a high ball and run more than 50 metres a game and not be a speed bump your already doing a better job than Darius

It was moronic but so were the other many 4th and 5th tackle more idiotic penalties some of the other more experienced players than Flegler gave away. Ran a good line for that try and made quality runs and didn’t get bent backwards like most of our forwards tonight. I’d say he held his own and did his job which is more than what you could say for half the team again tonight

Nope that's not exactly what went down. Yes seibold was consulted but any no coach would have refused him. Moose made it clear that was the oath he wanted to take for the reasons I posted a few months back. Definitely not any coaches fault.

I know straight from the horses mouth Seibold told him he wouldnt be in his plans.

Desperately unlucky tonight, losing Kennar in the first minutes of play really screwed up things. Siebold had clearly built the side's game plan around Kennar after the masterstroke of bringing him in this week. It was a decision that could have saved our season. Really brave coaching from Anthony, such a shame that injury robbed him of his only idea but hey, you can't help bad luck.

I think we can be proud of the boys. If you analyse the stats you can see the team is on the right track.

I'd like to see Shaun Fensom in at hooker next time out. We need a real hard head to bring some experience into the pack. I wouldn't be surprised if Anthony thinks the same thing. It'd be good to see him in the number 9 jersey next game.

Just watched the presser

Seibs is trying very hard to dodge saying what we all are publicly, and he’s between a rock and a hard place so I feel for him a bit. I don’t think he thought the situation is as dire as it’s turned out. The team was still going ok and he’d just have to debut some kids and keep on keeping on. Which is probably what most of the league and (other teams’) fans saw on the surface. But it wasn’t going to be painless and there’s been some unfortunate factors that have made things a lot worse. I hope everything turns around for him, but he does need to draw a line in concrete, not sand. He’ll live or die by his decisions this year, past and future.

He is taking the wrap for the players not being up for games, so that’s step one, now he has to try and change that going forward. I don’t think it’s all on him yet though, because players do still need to have some dignity and self-respect in putting in good performances, which several can’t honestly say they are.

Lastly, **** me there are some spastic journos in there. Last question was ‘have you released Su’A before June 30?’
