I know straight from the horses mouth Seibold told him he wouldnt be in his plans.
Did Buck tell you?
I know straight from the horses mouth Seibold told him he wouldnt be in his plans.
Just watched the presser
Seibs is trying very hard to dodge saying what we all are publicly, and heās between a rock and a hard place so I feel for him a bit. I donāt think he thought the situation is as dire as itās turned out. The team was still going ok and heād just have to debut some kids and keep on keeping on. Which is probably what most of the league and (other teamsā) fans saw on the surface. But it wasnāt going to be painless and thereās been some unfortunate factors that have made things a lot worse. I hope everything turns around for him, but he does need to draw a line in concrete, not sand. Heāll live or die by his decisions this year, past and future.
He is taking the wrap for the players not being up for games, so thatās step one, now he has to try and change that going forward. I donāt think itās all on him yet though, because players do still need to have some dignity and self-respect in putting in good performances, which several canāt honestly say they are.
Lastly, **** me there are some spastic journos in there. Last question was āhave you released SuāA before June 30?ā
āI think Souths announced that yesterdayā
Come on
You keep kidding yourself with your anti Wayne agendas.
I would love to see some proof. Because all the reports say otherwise. The club facilitated a move for McGuire to Cowboys and Bennett was consulted. All of this while Seibold was still at Souths.
To be fair though seibold doesnāt like this team and sadly for him he canāt just go in one months time from now have the answer....Itās time to start looking at the coach
He canāt even get them to turn up
We were not anywhere near as bad as this with bennett
And the idiot let go of a bloke like Moose.
So nothing then. Blaming Seibold for a decision made by other people. Even if McGuire wasn't in Seibold's plans, it wasn't him that offloaded him. He wasn't even at the fucking club.
I read an article by either Crash or Mike Colman that said both Bennett and Seibold had a say in whether Josh McGuire stays or goes.
Neither of them really 'owned' the decision and neither of them fought hard to keep him.
Whether he's right for the team or not, he played nearly 200 games for us over 10 years. Moose should've been treated better - regardless if he stays or goes.
It's reflective of just what a shambles the way we went about changing coaches was.
Keep on keeping on Mr Agenda.
Care to explain where I even said it was Bennett that offloaded him?
As I was saying in the pre game thread Seibs is absolutely gutless in making ANY hard decisions. If Boyd has an ounce of credibility he would retire today. He would muster the courage to acknowledge he is done. I think the players are frustrated and gutted from the look in the sheds. The players looked fed up with Boyd and if Seibs doesn't send him packing then he will lose the shed.
Milf was our whole spine tonight. He was 7,6, 1 and hooker at times when Macca was out there.
We had a bounce in form i think due to Seggy. He is infectious and we need him back. The boys looked like they respected him from the get go.
They don't look up to Boyd and Macca thats for sure. Boyd single handedly took any momentum we had and shit his pants. He is joke, he is fool and he should be ashamed. If he is not the boys should come into the showers with socks full of soap bricks and slog the **** out of him.
Siebs the year is toast. Send those two back to qrl and bring Seggy and anyone else in. Tell the boys to go out and have some fun. Play for the fans and just do your best.
I dont really care, no. But you do seem to keep banging on about Seibold not being at the club. Officially, he wasnt, but every man and his dog knew he was already the coach. And when anyone brings up how we werent this bad under Bennett, you seem to pipe up fairly quickly about it. If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, its probably an anti Bennett agenda.
Didn't watch the game because I was getting peer pressured in to drinking too much when out with for my sisters birthday. Is it safe to assume I should not bother watching the replay?

You really seem to drive that agenda line whenever people on here don't agree with what you're saying... Especially when it comes to Carrigan. But providing facts is now an anti-Bennett agenda, is it? Stupid, stupid, stupid. You know how to use wikipedia, right? I would suggest you do a quick search on that.
It's pretty common knowledge who was responsible for what happened with McGuire and even McGuire said it was him that asked to be released from his contract. You claimed to know otherwise and instead of backing up your claim you decided to trot out that stupid "you have an agenda" line that you seem to be growing more fond of...
