It's all words though... the contract hasn't gone through the NRL salary auditor, it hasn't even been put in front of Fifita to sign. They've upped their price 2 or 3 times within hours

It's all being played out in public now and they want to get Fifita on the record saying he'll go to the titans, because that will burn his bridges with Brisbane.

By the time they come to actually sign the contract who knows what it will be

Hunt makes no sense but this is the best young backrower in the world by a country mile (the only one close enough is already signed by the Storm), a stupid offer is actually understandable.

The Storm did it for Milf as well, their last minute bid pushed his number up over the the $1Mil.......even though he was never leaving his family in Brisbane.

Nahh, its Tino Fa'asuamaleaui. They have known each other since they were about 9 or 10 years old. Fifita is good mates as well with Payne.

I think they will make it happen as the players are wanted. They can move things around.

If Fifita stays, we sign arguably the most exciting prospect that's come into the NRL in a long time.

If he goes, it frees up money for us to sign a player we desperately need. A player that can inspire and lift the rest of the playing group.

It's a bit of win-win really.
