Same article they mentioned how we celebrated gillett, Boyd and kahu for their broncos careers but ignored Fifita
 
Maybe we should have built a statue for him hey?
 
Are we really gonna call out our best back by a country mile because he won’t sign a contact yet?
Maybe he is waiting to see what’s going to change around the club before making a decision. Busted his ass off this year and now wants to see whether the club actually wants to turn this shit show around or not. Appointing the coach doesn’t fix everything

I think we should call out any player no matter who it is if it looks like they are playing us. We got held ransom by Fifita and lost. We overpayed for Milford because we panicked and offered him silly money. We cant let these players mess us around. We need to get our cap in order and regain control of our recruitment.

Like i have said, offer him a good and fair contract, one that reflects that while he is capable of being a gun in attack, he still has a lot of deficiencies in his game. He isnt anywhere near an elite player yet for us to be offering him $750k plus a year. He is a 500k a year player tops at the moment. I reckon somebody will probably offer him around that $750k-850k a year mark and he should take it. I just hope it wont be us. Just like how i'm glad we didnt overpay for Fifita.

Yeah I do, after developing him only for him to pull another Fifita because of one bad year I am more than happy to call him out. Shit attitudes and me first personalities like him are everything that is wrong with this club.

Good, one of the few times I have been proud of the club this year. Hope he money bags had to buy his own meal too.

Apparently he scurried out as soon as he could too the spineless little germ.

Sounds like staggs is playing hardball with the Broncos.

If that's the case, stuff him. I would prefer the club to cut him loose now tbh. The club shouldnt go funding another players rehab for a year for nothing. He put in this year but this year but we still finished last with him before he stuffed his acl. His attack is amazing, but so was Roberts, and defence and teamwork wins premierships. Bottom 4 teams get held to ransom like this so if that's where we want to stay......
Who the **** do these young guys think they are? Haha

When we were a force we used to dictate terms ensuring stability and sending a message to the players what the club will and won't stand for. Over time we just became a club that would bend over and squeal like a pig Deliverance style when a player plays hard ball or chucks a hissy fit if they don't get their way. That needs to change, Staggs has potential but he isn't so great in a position to dictate terms that he can't be replaced either.
