I think we will benefit from the year Haas has had. All he needs is aggression and that is building from the shit he has endured.
Hass has been thrown in the deep end at the start of his forward apprenticeship. Been asked as rookie to be the corner stone. Seibold total screwed Hass on his growth and development. Threw him to the loins. Wayne always brought forwards on slowly. A few games here and there. A taste. A learning. Said they don't come into there prime till mid till late 20's. Protect to them. It's not gospel, but hard to argue with history. F#@k that sh#t stain Seibold.

So next year's team (and my last list for the year? Probably not):

1. Brimson
2. Holmes
3. Morgan?
4. Lee?
5. Gagai
6. Munster
7. Cherry-Evans
8. Papalii
9. Grant
10. Welch
11. Fifita
12. Kaufusi
13. Tino

14. Ponga
15. Collins
16. Arrow
17. Su'A

And a bucketload of forward depth - WOW!

Holy shit another year without any broncos?

Our center spots are pretty much still wide open imo. And QLD centers who have a good start to next year will be right in the mix.

That's a decent team ... I like it.

It will be interesting to see how they use Brimson.

I think Ponga has to be fullback, but can Brimson play that roving lock role??

If he can we have a pretty strong nucleus for a number of years.

Really we just need a halfback to step up. Cherry is getting on a bit and has never really been a dominate force in the origin arena. If one of the young halfbacks pops up from nowhere and allows Munster to do his thing that spine could be the mainstay for years.

Forward pack depth is strong. I think Gagai did enough to suggest he can hold that right center spot (with Mann a good option at left center) or Gagai on the left with Brenko holding his own on the right

I don’t get it with Munster. Like he didn’t **** up but I’m seeing people give him 10’s everywhere and he had one try assist? It’s bizarre.

Tom Opacic?
In all seriousness, one of the last set when Allan got sin binned and we down a man. Gagai comes up with a one on one try saver on Wrighton to win us the series.
He has to be one of the centre for us moving forward.

Unbelievable from the Maroons.

I had a good feeling about this series. I liked the changes Bennett made and all the fresh faces he brought in. Some may question his decision to leave Grant out till Game 3, but I thought it was a masterstroke. Just leave that option and make sure the Blues weren't quite sure what hit them.

I definitely felt like I was watching a Bennett coached team. Queensland were by far the better team playing positive football but just bombing opportunity after opportunity. Fortunately they got a bit of luck at the end there, the video referee could have made himself a hero and Kaufusi could have easily been binned as well but the Blues had their moments as well.

It was great to see Munster take the game on. It wasn't a 10/10 performance, but he was constantly looking to make things happen and was constantly in the game. That play in the lead up to Edrick summed it up. He completely pulled a rabbit out of the hat, but he just made it work. I thought for sure the play was going to go horribly wrong and it threatened to, but it was good to see the two debutants just play it smart.

Forwards were fantastic and really got the better of their opposites.

Great to witness Origin folklore in what has been such a trying year.

He was good. Real good. Super fucken good.

Nah he listed Grant at hooker. Surely even a halfwit as incompetent as Paul "sack the winningest coach in history for a fat fraud" White can understand how simple it is - find out where Grant lives, go there with a dumptruck full of cash and just keep pouring it out until he signs with us.

Gagai has pretty much gotta be in the centres now purely because there aren't a lot of options.
I think coming into the series there has always been questions about his defence.

In game 1 he absolutely shut Wighton down... in game 2 he looked a little more suspect but I can only really recall him being beaten once for Wighton's try. In game 3 he was put on the left and Gutho was looking like doing **** all before being moved to fullback (where he ended up doing **** all anyway).

Given the level of center depth we have at the moment and Gagai being able to at least hold his own in defence then I think he's got that spot by default... unless someone comes from nowhere, at which point he just drops to his wing with Val!

I’m guessing you literally didn’t watch the game, seriously. Anyone who watched the game couldn’t think he wasn’t great.
