RUMOUR TPJ & Isaako Met with the Tigers - Kevvie Spilled The Beans

About 1/3 of the way through - hosts talking about TPJ/Jamayne and replied saying like all young players they want to secure their future blah blah
Look, I listened to it just the once and KW didn't say they'd met. Isaako did say they'd met when asked but it wasn't about an offer. It's possible West Tigers spoke to a couple Titans players too. TPJ might have been on the list as well as a couple more broncos, maybe even Lodge. KW didn't confirm they'd met no matter what anyone wants to claim. The threads title is bullshit.

I would be surprised it TPJ was here post 22, so bringing in Su'A or Capewell on a multiyear deal is important as it helps Riki and Piakura develop next year and then both come in for 23 - one to start / one on the bench.

seems like he likely gone now we Lao extended Robati, we’ve offered an extension to Hetherington too.

Three years ago, Tevita Pangai Jr knocked back $900k a season to quit the Broncos, and in doing so sacrificed $300k:

"I never met with the Tigers, that’s the truth. It‘s been a frustrating week with all the rumours going on. I just tried to play my best game on the weekend against the Roosters — I wanted to show the club and the fans that I’m committed to staying here at the Broncos."

“There were rumours going around at the start of the year about my future, which made clubs contact my manager. I’m not a free agent until November so right now it’s not in my interest to be negotiating with other clubs anyway."

“I’m also on probation so I have to stay out of trouble to keep my contract at the Broncos and stay in Brisbane."

“Brisbane gave me a second chance after my mishap last year, so how would it look if I walked out on them to join another club? I’m committed to the Broncos and even if other clubs are interested, it’s my preference to stay here.”

“I’m doing my best to stay out of the headlines. I have a family to think of. I am about to get married, my partner is 13 weeks pregnant so I have no plans on leaving Brisbane. I also have my younger brother Jermaine here, he has one more year of high school and I am looking after him. I promised my parents when he moved up here that I would care for him, so I have a duty to look after his welfare.”

“I’ve spoken to ‘Kevvie’ and he spoke to me about trying to get the best out of me. We are working out ways for me to deliver my best week in, week out and Kevvie is holding me accountable for that. What I did last year was stupid and I’ve worked hard this year to become a leader in the club.

“I have been offered double to leave the club before and I stayed loyal, so it goes to show my passion for the Broncos. We’ve had some tough years but I can honestly see the club turning around under Kevvie and I want to be a part of it.”

That's it line him up for an extension now... where's the R&R team, Kevvie and DD... make it fucking happen.

Not sure if his brother plays, but **** it put him on a scholarship as well.

They're just words, but he's been backing it up with his actions too, this year.

Sounds like his mindset has matured a great deal in the past six months.

Hopefully he sticks around for a long time, love watching the bloke play.

He was also saying the same thing last time he was off contract and everyone was throwing cash at him to leave... he stuck solid with the broncs and signed an extension.

The broncos need to get in the negotiating room and start the discussions up... don't fucking leave it till next year!!

Even if a few of the young guys come through as second rowers TPJ can easily play in the middle.

Why do you think Bellamy is ""resting"" Munster, Grant and Hughes.

I actually wouldn’t be surprised if a few “in doubts” are a Belly tactic to prevent Kev from having a game plan based around TPJ targeting them.

Our whole games have been built around TPJ destroying the oppositions most dangerousness player.

Yep, i was half joking with my comment.

I know if i was the coach of a team playing the Broncos, my biggest concern would be TPJ and who Kevvie has decided to sick him on.

Seriously though, Munster and Grant are injured and i think Paps is 50/50 based on his HIA stuff.

I've totally lost track of where we're at with whether or not they ever met with the Tigers. It's like watching a tennis match. Who's going to come out next and say they did?
