I'm not too upset with Turpin's inclusion but I would prefer Paix if available. I'd say KW is expecting this to be a torid and physical affair and Turps is a tough little nugget who I expect will keep it tight and he will certainly get in the way of the big forwards.

Mmm, Newie. Totally get that he's a kid and what's being asked of him would be tough even for a more mature seasoned nrl fullback but failing to even attempt a catch makes me want to send him packing. I guess we have to stick with him if KW says so but like most I miss TMM.

Anyway, I had $270 on them because the price seemed pretty good. I think the team looks pretty good overall.

Did you not see how quickly the Broncos fell apart when he came onto the field?

I've got no issue with Tesi keeping his place. He's improved as the season has gone on and the Broncos look like a more dangerous team with him in the mix. It's a tough assignment against the Roosters and if he isn't up to it then go back to Plan B.

It's just like Mam vs. Gamble for me.

I'm also glad that Kevie is giving Mariner another go. I thought he played as well as you could expect of an 18 year old and I'd expect his combination with his team mates will improve with time. Again it's a tough assignment but it's good experience and I believe he's an important piece of the puzzle moving forward.

That never happened.

Haas was on the field when Paix came on, then was replaced by Carrigan not long after.

Been not quite right for a little while . Hoping it clicks this week . Using Riki like Billy did . Would be nice to see . Not shovel it to Kotoni every time . He has been smothered recently . Also teams will be on the alert for Tesi on the right after last weeks bust . Might open more space for Staggs .

Yeah can't see Herbie winning fullback, that said in his current position we can't possibly see if he has a cut out pass in him, but from everything I've seen if he was there he would be the type to get 200+ meters every game in that position, he does have a skillful boot in him though.
