1. Flegler should be coming off the bench

I actually don’t mind Paix going back to cup. Think he’s come back a bit slowly from his knee injury, service been a bit disappointing last two games. Get him confident in cup ahead of finals. Billy has been playing better and better too so hopefully turps has minimal minutes

Are brenko and gamble injured? With carrigan gone, I would have thought gamble may have been a chance in order to keep that ball play in the middle an option.

Although I appreciate blooding mariner, having he and ezra next to each other (and marking manu) could be a defensive liability. I think brenko's experience would have helped.

On replay, the Musgrove first contact from Paix was pretty poor and probably lacked awareness of where he was too, you can't go low that close to the line on a bigger guy. Yes I know, but but Tesi.. your hooker has to make better body contact there to stop all momentum

IIRC we were on top in the last Roosters game and Tesi was pinged for a stupid offside (the ref called him out and everyone heard but him). Roosters go downfield and score etc etc.

Is Martin still injured? WTF? We were going really well with him at 1..

1. agree - I'm one of Flegs biggest fan and think he offers this team so much (when the ref forgets to add his name to the tip sheet). but i think he offers us more impact of the bench, while Jensen is more your workhorse style prop, so is better starting. It's a 17 man game after all, the balance is better with Flegs on the bench. being a bench forward doesn't necessarily mean you aren't as good as the starters

2. disagree - both are shit ... but Kennedy has been better (on the field) this year

Jensen was a step off his usual pace last week .
I noticed he wore a compression sock on his calf . Didn`t have the same grunt . Probably why he was on the bench . OK to play but not 100 % ready for war .

Gamble is injured he has a Calf issue.
No word on Lee, assume he is fine if he plays cup(forgot which team he plays for).

Gamble not running .
Hasn`t played last 2 weekends . Stress fracture of the shin was report month back . Then he played off the bench . Now on side line . Today they say calf soreness . Ken oath a stress fracture would make your calf sore .

Brenko ? Dunno just kinda random . Had a decent game against the Eels I thought ? But gone for now .

Mariner is the future it seems . Cobbo played a cpl of good games at right centre at the end of last season too . Add Herbert to the mix and there`s gonna be some dog fights for backline spots in the off season .

Dissapointed that he has too but think it's the right move for the rest of the season to send paix back to get some minutes in.

But overall this is the most disappointing team list of the year for mine. We've thrown out worse teams but that was through lack of choice. Wtf has Gamble done wrong? I get tmm has gone next year but picking niu ahead of him just shows that Walters thinks we are no chance this year. Mariner was solid too but what's happened to brenko lee? Jensen has been great but that bench has absolutely ZERO impact. We better be up by 30 points by half time with no subs or we are fucked unless 2-3 play the absolute games of their lives....

Can't see us winning this. Then we have the storm after that.. 3 losses in a row and under serious, serious threat of missing the finals... wow

Gamble is confirmed to be injured with a calf strain. Agree on the rest, Brenko never deserved to be dropped and TMM surely deserves a second go. I don't hate on Niu, I rate the kid, but we've clearly been better when TMM is playing.
