Pereira better be fucken injured. If there was ever a game to play the bloke it’s this one for **** sakes. That’s the smallest backline we could have picked, well done Kev.

Wasn’t expecting to see Leota name checked. He impressed me in the trials.

Oates must be another week away. Sheesh, it was never going to be pretty. I don't think running through them will be an option here...

Mariner has been 18th man the last cpl of months .
You want to over look him and bring in Pereira who hasn`t even been on the extended bench . That`d be a slap in the face for Mariner .

Oates was still in a brace last time I saw him on pre game coverage.

Horses for courses, but I want to see what Mariner can do in yardage in any case.

I don't see us winning, but the NRL loves a close match, so maybe between two teams they like to ream they will put the whistle away and give us a proper game of footy. OR it will just be mysterious 6-again calls all afternoon.

Ref is Gerard Sutton who recently gifted us 26 points over Manly. He also handed us our first round victory over the premiers.

What I saw from the Storm and Panthers games is that the team are not letting any missing players count as an excuse. They competed hard, right until the very end. In the last few years, in the same situation, the team played with an inevitability that they couldn't win without all of the big stars, and effectively went in to damage control at the end of games instead of believing they could turn the tide.

The Warriors will be full of confidence - they have won most of these encounters, convincingly so on some occasions, and they are playing better now than most years. They would see this as an opportunity to take a big scalp. But I think that not only can we take them, we can come away with a convincing victory. The next-man-up scenario is about to play our, let's see what they are made of.

Feel weirdly confident to be honest. The same way I felt going into the Panthers game and the Storm game. We will be in it until the end but probably lack the class or fire power to come out on top.
