Oates doesn`t , neither does Arthars . So what difference does it make if Mariner doesn`t ?

If you're a winger now you need to take ground, Oates does it with hit ups, Cobbo takes hit ups and runs from dummy half- with Herbie and Staggs they are the Broncos three best outside backs at it. Arthars did two hit ups and one dummy half run against Penrith.

All I really expect is effort. We try hard and go after a win, it’s not reasonable to expect any team to win in this situation really but the least we can ask for is them to try. Points would be so incredibly valuable in this game but at the end of the day that very well likely won’t happen.

Yep everything is against us this week, if the team can keep it tight, that's a win in itself. The NRL officialdom have once again been proven to be just useless at their jobs from top to bottom. Who in their right mind would put a team known to be decimated by origin up against a team known not to be decimated at all at their home off a bye? Where is the fairness and equity of schedule even remotely findable in this?

In all honesty, Billy has been doing a decent job this year. Agree there are few lapses but they could come from anyone from 1-17.
Can’t put Paix similarly though. I would snub Paix for Smoothy this next few weeks & see how it evolves. This could make Paix hungrier & make him put in more effort in his game.He definitely needs more minutes which, he won’t get in 1st grade at this stage. Back to Reggie’s could do a world of good to his game.

That was Smoothy's best attacking game, but he has not been doing that all season his attack has been absent. It's only his second try assist. His attacking game has taken until now to get going. Everything good has happened last two games.

He's just been tackling himself to a standstill every week and topped count it 8/9 games.

His try against Souths was awful but the Hutners one was good. A marker on his knees and he took off and scored under the posts.
