Players get pushed in the ruck all the time... that was nothing compared to others that get let go, but Storm player refuses to play the ball until he gets a penalty.

Luai will be taking notes from that one

If that's so I wouldn't say he's exploiting the rules? The rules are you can't push people playing the ball, he's just playing by the rules

Ok well be prepared for 40 six agains / penalties a game if every slight push in the ruck is now punished... except we all know we'll never see it again... unless of course players now just refuse to play the ball

Anyone else notice the storm doing this thing like a half grapple on almost every tackle? They use their upper arm wedged against the head/neck and push it to the side so the tackled player can’t move, their hand is on the ball/chest area. Quite often the head gets pushed into the ground as a result.

Brilliant from Meaney, nothing like a quality chip and chase and he picked the moment beautifully.

I thought it was a very fortuitous penalty coming out of trouble, Cowboys were on top that set.

Ref's #GameManagement pays off to bring the storm closer

Storm in a previous set could've been pinged 3 separate times, but nothing... one soft ruck penalty inside the 40m and he blows it straight away... gotta love a bit of NRL consistency
