2023 State of Origin - Game II Discussion

Really impressed with QLDs middle forwards. Carrigan POTS last year, Cotter MOTM (though in a slightly different position), Collins immense tonight. Always someone stepping up in an area QLD has often struggled in since some of the big guns retired.

Should have picked Campbell graham. Should have put yeo to centre and Murray to 13.

thought Payne had his best origin game, didn’t deserve to be in a losing team. He was monstrous and his offloads were killer.

Munster was robbed man of the match. He’d better get the Wally Lewis medal, dead set. Collins was good but Munster was everywhere all night.
Payne was easily best on field for the blues, easily his best origin.

But **** the blues were bad, like proper shit. Their attack looked like wooden spoon NRL level, no grit in defence.

Cook at centre was absolutely insanely bad coaching, there was probably 5 better ways to shuffle but Fitler did it in the worst way possible.

Graham is an actual gun centre but somehow isn't picked. Tedesco is no longer origin level, if they had guts he would have been dropped and they go with Edwards game two. I'm half expecting Fitler to roll out the same team game 3 but Mitchell swapping for Turbo, he's just that much of a dud.

Freddy went 'safe' and picked on rep, Billy took 'risks' picking on form and fitness....

Look at the scoreboard, as Reece would say.
