How much is too much for Payne? The saga continues...

What is the maximum per year you would offer Haas?

lol Sonny Bill is highly regarded as one of the most dedicated and hardest trainers in southern hemisphere sport. There’s a plenty of ammo Sonny haters can use but relaxing isn’t one of them

He is also a drama queen.

His near death experience. lol

And look at the weight set up. He spent up big on this.

How many reps did he squat them for? Was it his working weight or a warm up?

My guess is his warm-up is equal to my one rep max.
My record was 3 sets of 120 @ 8. That was just before my last surgery, haven't attempted anything since so probably couldn't even squat 40 these days lol.

I was working towards squatting double my body weight (160) but unlikely I'll ever get close now with a fucked knee.

That's a damn solid squat.
My pb is just shy of that at 120 for 3 sets of 5, with the last set taking everything I had to get it done.
My problem is it takes me 3 days to recover from a solid leg session these days haha.

Sbw thinking he is harry squatter no chance

Clarence Kennedy is the fucking man, strongest vegan to walk the earth.
I'd love to see this dudes blood pressure on the stand up in these heavy squats.
Would be like 250/150 for 5 seconds.

Tallis on 360 last night…

Haas is an incredible player, but he’s not Glenn Lazarus. He doesn’t change the result.

This was in reference to the $$$ he wants. Now, does Gordie have a hidden agenda because he is a Titans fan boy? Maybe. Is he completely wrong?? I don’t think so. Incredible player, Payne. Worth busting the bank over?

Payne was getting lots of compliments for his play in our spoon year.. It's obviously Arey and the rise of Mam and Walsh that's delivering the results... Focus on the spine and not your battering rams.

Can't let dhead managers run clubs.. just not good business. Put a strong offer to him with a deadline, and then withdraw and offer similar to Tino or just withdraw and wait for more chances to offer on players.

This coming from the bloke who was happy the Titans kept bidding against themselves to find Fifita's squeal point of $1.25 million.

Fifita is even less like Lazo than Haas is

Interesting that you think Fifita plays Lazo.

Because my post is commenting on the raging fool thinking a forward isn't worth the money he's asking because he doesn't play like Lazo.

The fool's comments were off the mark anyway, because Haas plays as close to Lazo as the modern game allows.

With the new salary cap, Haas will and should offered $1 million to $1.2 million a season from the Premiership contenders ... I can see I'm being offered $1.5 million per year from the desperate cellar dwellers

That's not at all what he said, Tallis said Lazo changed results- won three teams their first comp- he changed clubs.

Is Haas going to do that? You don't have to play like Lazo you need to change clubs/results like Lazo.

But Tallis is not convinced Haas is worth more than what the Broncos are already willing to pay him.

“There’s no Glenn Lazarus in him,” Fox Sports and NRL 360 co-host Tallis said of Haas.

“I’ve watched him (Haas) really closely.

“When he was at his best, and close to winning the Dally M, the Broncos got the wooden spoon (in 2020).

“As good as Payne Haas is, and he’s an unbelievable player, it’s about changing the results.

“Is he the player that changes the result?

“That’s what you ask yourself.”

It's a team game, the way you change the result by just playing your best. I guess leadership can also come into it, but that comes with age and experience. Still, if you're playing well and the team is not doing so good, it's probably not you that was the problem.
