Both possible, but do we see Canberra targeting Ponga in their first game? Could spell the end of their season IMO, they will need to be at their best against the Wahs (who I'm just going to go ahead and assume will not beat Penrith in week 1).

Fair point. If they grub it up like they have against us you'd imagine they will go after Hastings too.

I just think like Sharks last year, Wahs easy draw has covered some not great form. They've been far from convincing last few weeks of the season and if Penrith really put the boot in, don't see them recovering.

Warriors can prove everyone wrong this week and I think it’s by far their most important game, the noise in the lead up to their elimination final will be deafening if they get belted by Penrith.

Much like it has been as a Bronco fan after Melbourne beat us again, people seemed to have lost touch with the fact that we were one of the best teams all year, we lost to Melbourne twice and still finished ahead of them.

Journalism is pathetic. Even James Graham who I think is one of the only good ones out there is rubbish with his research. On the Monday scrum today he proudly announced that we missed a trick and my not winning last week not only did we miss the minor premiership but it means we would have played the Warriors. That’s bullshit because if we won the Storm don’t get the 2 points and therefore stay in 4th meaning we would play them.

I know it’s not a big deal but even him who I view as the last hope can’t be fucked doing any research or preparation.

Does he have any quotes for that? Like I would honestly doubt that happened because players tend to roll out the typical “we will play anyone” so as not to provide motivation but he can just say that and that will now just be accepted as fact.

Just says he overheard some of the players saying "Oh it would be good to play Warriors in Week 1". He was down on the field after the game doing interviews for SEN League and says he overheard the players then, doesn't say whether they were doing interviews when they said it or if they were just talking among themselves.

Most of our punters wish we were playing the Warriors in week one. Don’t see why the players would think differently.
