Proud of the way the boys fought back in the second half.

We were never winning this game with our outs. The quality of refereeing has to be at a near all time low.

Thought it was admirable the way we worked ourselves back into the game after it looked like we had given up the ghost in that first 20 minutes of the second half.

Concerning how much we switched off there, but a good sign of character that we came back into it.

Last 20 min weren't too bad. I think Cobbo moving from centre really screwed our defence in the 1st 60.

Never had a prayer in this one. A disaster before a ball was kicked with Reyno and Haas out.

Sutton rode Penrith's dick hard directly awarding points as a result off a blatant double movement, Penrith took Walsh out and not a peep from any commentators ("Not his go" type shit. Focused so much on the head clash and not the grubby tucked arm action of May. The hard on the Rugby League media have for Penrith right now is disgusting), Madden, Baker and Walters were all garbage and we missed the brains and organizing of Reyno to counter Cleary badly.

Pray Reyno is back next week to steady the ship otherwise 2024 is on life support 4 rounds in.

Walters, Baker, Mam (for the 1st 60min) were a bit disappointing.

With 2 of our best players out pre game, and then losing the other 2 mins in. It could have been a lot worse.

Would we have still liked to put up more of a fight? Absolutely, but they are the best in the business and carved us up where we had to reshuffle the backline.

Sutton also did us no favours whatsoever, as usual.

Big question marks on Baker and Walters.

Penrith definitely bundy'd off at the end, but this game was a shitshow for us, we got shafted and it exposed our lack of flexibility on the edge which is our biggest weakness this year.

Similar to what happened against the Roosters. We lose a player early, and it stuffs up everything.

Brave second half from the boys. Happy to keep them to 6 points. Mam actually had some nice touches at the end which was nice to see. Baker has played himself out of a starting spot.

We just gave to be perfect and at least get a 50/50 share of the important calls against the panthers.
I think this is good motivation for the back end of the year, as if we needed anymore
