For comparison. Glen Vaihu is a shit ton better and he is still very much a q-cup potential development spot prospect.

That's alright I do believe he is ready for a big year in the Nrl. Te Kura is a possibility for starting if he trains well and strong trials.

I like the punch Willison has and his impact he offers when he 1st enters the field. I see Willison as more of an impact forward and Te Kura as a starter.
 
Happy with the Hunt signing, but i wonder if there will be any roster changes.
We have
Hookers- Piax, Smoothy, Walters, Mozer, Hunt, Bukowski
Halfs- Reno, Mam, Hunt, Madden, Rogers, Black
good chunk of our top 30, Hookers and Halfs.

i think we need some 2RF depth and maybe outside backs.

Whats everyone thoughts on our current roster ?

2024 Jensen is a Q cup player IMO .
Not a great defender doesn`t pass and offers little in attack .

A cpl of seasons back I called him the quiet achiever . Last season he was just quiet .

Don’t have a massive problem with the Jensen call, but Willison would get that starting spot.

I would be pleasantly surprised if Te Kura has come that far after being injured for most of this year. Willison debuted in 2021, he’s more ready compared to Te Kura who debuted last year.

Something like drop Billy Walters and bring in Bateman sounds like a good plan.

BTK fan here .
I think for Te Kura mobility will be his challenge .
Maybe in short stints from the bench . He has an offload and can tackle hard . Fataigue could find him out if he is on too long before he has more miles in his legs after having a lisfranc injury .
 
Can I just say wjat good business it is the club has hayze perham on our development list. He isn't great but to have him as an option OUTSIDE our top 30/salary cap is ridiculous. He's played 50+ nrl games in halves and backline. That's surely the most experienced development list player in the nrl. Very smart business

Good enough to win it all. At full strength as good as any other roster and better than most.

I think he probably wanted to play more minutes I'd assume and not be depth. With te-kura and willison he probably wouldn't get much first grade time. Granted they both seem sorta injury prone so who knows lol.

Would straight up take him over kobe easily without a second thought, don't think he would outside the ideal 17 if we did sign him he covered the Ball playing lock role ideal giving Patty alot less pressure to do big mins.

Mmm. Perhaps. I like him too. It's a shame regardless. Ideally should never have let him go to the tits.
