We didn't play good but it is hardly the worst we've played in forever, you've just got to back the coach and trust he is still learning about the group. That's what he was suggesting in the post-game. I will say that's the worst I have seen Walsh play, barely had a good carry.
We were never really going to win but at the same time, we've only been beaten by 10 points. That was the perfect setup for Canberra. They'll probably get flogged by some team that isn't going to feature in the finals in the upcoming rounds. They were up for Vegas, they were up last night in front of a sell out against a team that scored 50 the week prior.
I would expect us to beat the Cows, not saying to put 50 on them but just a solid win. I don't think it's ever reasonable to just expect you'll rack up 50, no team is ever as shit as they were the week before. Cows were better against Cronulla, the score won't say it but they were in the grind for a bit there.

Even with the loss we still looked fit. They'd poleaxed us for 60mins and we were looking far fitter for the last 20mins. My cope is that we played poorly and still were in the frame to potentially snatch it. I'm not sure that the Cowboys are close to the Raiders' fitness levels - Ricky had that squat primed thick week, which might be tougher for Todd.
