Its hard for me to say not watching games, but certain things clearly dont seem to be working. Hetherington to lock being a big one.

I still think we have suffered from being scared to lose any promising player we have and overpaying them. We need to start letting some of these apparently talented players walk if they hold us to ransom even if it means replacing them with a player who is less talented but does his job better. Having all the best players doesnt always equate to having the best team.
If the stats i have found are correct the this season kobe hetherington has played 9 games

10 Tackle breaks
Average hits ups per game 7.7
Average meters per game 70

And i just picked another lock at random really, Erin Clarke who I laughed when the warriors picked him up.

8 games
17 tackle breaks
Averages 15 hit ups
Average running meters 159

Along with a slightly higher tackle efficiency.

While Herrington is not the sole issue, he is definitely one of them.

Not sure on that, Willison should have played backrow, dropped after he got injured early last game after Madge said he was the answer there, seems way too premature.

Putting Baker in aswell was nonsense imo. Marty and BTK are surely above from any objective standpoint.

I hope atleast Mozer comes in next week, at the cost of Paix, bring his easy try partner BTK with him too.
Piakura should of been run on and Riki should of been on the bench.

Correct. Would our season have fallen to pieces if we have to play Shibasaki instead of Staggs? I don’t think so

Anyone suggesting we bring Mozer, Taupau, or Te Kura in seriously needs to watch any one of their cup games to understand why it'd be a horrible idea. Baker of all players outperforming them should tell you all you need to know.
Eh who cares. We need changes and players to be held accountable at this stage. Whoever we dropped down would look like shit in qcup as well.

Yeah I’m on this line of thought also, these ***** need to face some sort of consequence.

Just see the highlight of Latrell putting Mariner in to touch. ****ing dumb ass.

Granted it was dumb, especially in the wet, but maybe was symptomatic of the fact it was our ninth line break of the game for little gain. There was absolutely no support there so the only other option is to cut in and take the tackle. Nothing else we’d done in the game indicated we’d have scored that set had he taken the tackle infield.

The good clubs would have a support player there, but if they didn’t they’d have faith in their systems to score the next play.

Eh, I won’t hold that against him. I was yelling at the tv for him to have a crack. I thought it was worth a shot
I think if he headed back toward the posts he would have had a better chance of out running latrell or at the very least get tackled mid field. It was just another low percentage play due to having no support runners.

Because the comp is a shit show ATM I still will not write us off as post Origin will likely be the time for the actual premiership contenders to flex their muscles, but this is a must win against a team we surely can beat.

Losing here is completely unacceptable.
What’s it called when you repeatedly accept unacceptable things all the time year after year ?
I Think I’ll go with acceptable

A normal grade 1 hammy is 4-6 weeks... tearing it off the bone is LOD when he got wishboned at the cows and is several months... think its like 12-16 and surgery.

If the club is saying 4-6 then it sounds like a grade 1.

Peter B catastrophising again
