This is what I'd be looking at, pending fitness of Howarth/Grant. Holmes is just way too weak defensively at centre, would consider him for a wing spot.

I like it but would swap Cotter and Carrigan, lets be real he is playing real Lock for us, and he is easily the best ball playing forward QLD has.

Fifita has lost the plot so he is out, put Horse in there I would say at this stage, Mo on the bench as Middle rotation.

Fermor as 17.

At this stage honestly have Billy over Hunt due to versatility, can play halves and can definitely play centre better than anyone on the bench too, with him in the team I feel we cover any scenario sufficiently(has defended there plenty of times for us well for example), this would mean big mins for Grant but he does that normally for Storm.

Dearden is easily 18th man.

And apparently they're selecting Saifiti and Uto instead.

Saifiti always pulls a mammoth performance out of his ass in origin, so he might go alright, but Uto has only been ok with storm so far.

Wouldn't it make sense for them to stick with what won them origin last year? At least for game 1.
 
NSW is always the most interesting squad to pick because they have soo many options and their selectors often **** it up consistently which makes it interesting, QLD has alot less depth so the positions tend to pick themselves mostly.

May in his twitch cod stream basically leaked he isn't being picked which is already insane, he is basically like for like AFB, and at current the clear second best middle this year behind Haas, if he actually doesn't get picked it's honestly comedy.

Also never understood why Robson was ever ahead of Koroisau, he is easily a level above him, anyone with actual eyes can see this.
