lol nah, never going to happen. He wouldn't dare shit talk the storm.
Much better...Sorry My bad… you’re not a loser, that’s just a loser mentality…
I have no idea if it was bullying or not but he was weeded out one way or the other for not being up to the Dogs standards.I'd say their 9-1 record is a better testament than bullying a mediocre player out of a contract.
The Dogs are incredibly shrewd with their recruitment and retention.
Dogs have a player suing them ATM for training too hard.
He walked when he couldn't handle the punishment he got for being late. He lacked mental toughness.
We need to weed out similar types if that's the problem.
It's actually a winning mentalitySorry My bad… you’re not a loser, that’s just a loser mentality…
My point being, I don't think it was because of his training standards - I just don't think they rated him as a player so they placed unreasonable demands on him to force him out.I have no idea if it was bullying or not but he was weeded out one way or the other for not being up to the Dogs standards.
The 9 -1 record is a result of (rightly or wrongly) getting those players to move on.
The Dogs squad has a complete buy in of Ciraldos methods and are making it work with one of the worst spines in the comp.
The Bulldogs have stood by the punishment, issued by high-performance manager Travis Touma, saying it lasted no more than six minutes and was "of-a-kind of disciplinary responses that is common among NRL clubs".My point being, I don't think it was because of his training standards - I just don't think they rated him as a player so they placed unreasonable demands on him to force him out.
I doubt the other players have been subjected to the same treatment.

He turned it up. You just cannot do that in a group that doesn't accept it. Again rightly or wrongly.
I've been in footy clubs my whole life, if you turn it up, that's it, you're that guy and you lose the trust of your team mates to hang in when you're ****ed.
I've been binge watching 'the Soparanos' lately as i missed it when it first came out on TV. I was amused when I heard Tony utter your "socks" aphorism. The Bulldogs have stood by the punishment, issued by high-performance manager Travis Touma, saying it lasted no more than six minutes and was "of-a-kind of disciplinary responses that is common among NRL clubs".

Yeah for sure I know what you mean but I think the talent part is the point. The Dogs have that attitude you can make up for talent with effort and determination. If you can't be ****ed turning up for training on time then you get made an example of.How common is it, actually? How many other players were subjected to the same treatment as Topine? You know full well that trainers will bend the truth to suit themselves.
Again, it's smart business but like Marty, I think Topine received the short end of the stick because he simply wasn't talented enough.

This was at a time when Ciraldo was trying to change the culture and look where they are now.
Maybe Tapine would have been moved on anyway who knows but he clearly was not the in the Ciraldo mould.
Most of the team seems to be playing worse under Madge. Players gassed, out of position, and looking confused. I'm still hoping that he finally learns whatever he's been learning each week and we go on a run, but with him pretty much doing the exact same thing every week - its not looking promising. There’s about 10 players I’d sack before Madge
