FOOTBALL English Premier League 25/26 Discussion

Will they be able to bring players in?

I read that Jimmy boy just sacked another lot of staff, and you lot had to pay a sizeable fee to Adidas for not qualifying for the Champions League.

Sounds like times are tough.
Will all depend on what sales can be generated you'd assume. SJR and Glazers aren't dipping in their own pockets.

Thank god Cunha is going. I cant ever recall a time that at Wolves that nobody cares, and in fact they cant wait for such a talented player to get out of our club.

Cunha with a here we go.

I'd love nothing more than to be proven wrong, but I can't get excited about the signing, at all. I just see red flags being ignored.

Paying in instalments as expected, so even if he doesn't work we'll still be paying him off in 4 years. 😒

His discipline on the field isnt as bad as people seem to think. He's only ever had one red card in his career.

Reading the local Wolves news, its a 40 million up front payment then 2 further payments to take it up to the 62.5 million.

Cunha will be fine.

If Bruno does stay, Cunha will free him up as well which is a plus.

Next signing should be striker. Mbeumo or Mateta would be a good fit.

Yeah, red flags not red cards is what I mean. Mainly attitude. Time will tell.

Fair enough, 40m of sales needed instantly then. Likely that'll be funds from Garnacho sale gone.

Doesn't leave much else to play with unless you get long installment deals on all other inbound transfers.

Mbeumo isnt a striker. He plays off the right cutting inside mainly at Brentford.

We can still make a couple more signings without needing to sell. We have a budget of just under £100 million allocated for the transfer window.

Reports are Greenwood and De Zerbi aren't getting along that well so if he's sold we'll get some of that.

This is the first realistic view I've seen on the Cunha signing from a Man Utd fan.

It absolutely stinks. He's had a history of attitude/discipline problems and he's going to just about the worst club for it.

I'll call it now irrespective of what signings other clubs make - he will be the flop signing of next season.

What's Wolves general feeling on Aït-Nouri leaving, sounds like City are very interested.

As a fan base, we dont really have an issue with Ait Nouri, we know we cant hold onto to players like him. When we sign players like him and Cunha for example, we only ever expect them to stick around for 2 or 3 seasons at the most and its clear he's destined for a top club. Luckily, in Hugo Bueno we already have a ready made replacement. He's a good young player out on loan in Holland so i presume we will just give him an opportunity now.

Read something interesting this morning with the Cunha deal as well that was released by the club. While its being paid in installments, the 3 payments are only over 2 years which i find unusual. Usually, its spread over the length of the contract.

Shocking scenes at the Liverpool parade for winning the title with a car driving into the crowd. 27 people injured, hope they are all ok.

Amorim pretty much telling Garnacho he can **** off, and in front of the rest of the squad as well.

"You better pray that you can find a club to sign you".

It was inevitable after the interview Garnacho did after the Europa League final. That would have been the final straw for Amorim.

Whats a realistic price for him? 40?
Delap and change. Not a bad deal.

Probably not that much now that Amorim has basically made it clear he doesnt have a future there. If it was all kept in house they could have probably got more.

So many players at United they will lose massive money on and also struggle to shift because of their ridiculous salaries. They wont even get half of what they paid out for the likes of Anthony and Sancho if they can even sell them.

United losing to a randomly cobbled together malaysian team.
Diallo flipping off fans.
Delap off to chelsea.

Christ you boys cant catch a break lol.

They did have Sergio Aguero playing for them tbf. Granted its not THE Sergio Aguero, just some Argentinian bloke with the same name who moved to Malasia.

Don’t know why the club bothered with the tour.

None of the players wanted to be there. None of them gave a shit about the game. They did the absolute bare minimum off the pitch and the bare minimum on the pitch until the whole squad was rotated and all of the kids were put on.

Should have just taken the hit from Adidas.

Delap going to Chelsea doesn’t bother me. I never wanted him. We would be getting him based on potential and that hasn’t worked out for us.

Mateta is the one I would go for. Then sign Mbeumo, another midfielder and another GK.
