With the players leaving we certainly have the cap to sign a Mahoney. Sure maybe not a million dollar player but under the assumption that Cobbo is gone, Hetho won’t get anywhere near what he is on and is likely gone, same goes for Paix, Baker. That’s 1.5 million minimum on 4 underperforming players. Kotoni will be the only player with a rise that just resigned you’d think, if he is lucky. Same with maybe Mozer but can’t see it have sky rocketed or anything. Not to mention Marty is gone, Smoothy and Madden are off, Delouise is likely done for. Other than Hoeter and Marty none of them are that cheap especially for what they offer.

Look I don’t necessarily want Reed and he would be ludicrously expensive considering our depth in the position and his unlikeliness to even start or potentially even the 17 but I think the narrative of being cash strapped probably needs to go out the window now that Selwyn will likely be ****ed off.
