We have made the mistake of over-paying for potential and/or talented but uncommitted players for years. We finally stop doing it and some fans (at least the ones that are the type to listen to ****wits like CONEHEAD) can’t take it anymore. ****ing spare me.
You have to love the outrage from ***** on 360. The whole narrative has been you can’t keep Staggs and Cobbo because it detriments your halves and forwards. We prioritise forwards and spine and let Cobbo go and they are outraged. It’s obvious because they all love to choke on Gordie’s **** that they will just run the opposite narrative to what we are doing. Had we kept Cobbo it would be a waste of cap space.
Also the way they talked to DD when he went on Triple M Sunday was disgraceful. Sulking CONEHEAD and his attack puppy Hooper. Flogs.

Nah I’ve watched two of his three games back down, he looks disinterested and is not looking for work at all. He’s showing on urgency whatsoever. That said, he’s played in three different positions which should be noted.

Competition for spots without blowing the cap. Our big issue is no fullback depth

Wow! 1 try and 3 tackle busts in the Q Cup! Deary me get him in yesterday what a miraculous performance! I mean the minimum wage Karapani only managed the same amount of metres, 2 tackle busts, an additional line break and 2 tries in the top grade so let's get Cobbo back in and bring that 700K contract with him! Woohoo Cobbo's back boys!

Ash Taylor was one of our brightest talents ever and look how he went. You need the mindset to go with the natural ability, and Cobbo just doesn’t have it.

Those stats really aren't all that impressive for someone like Cobbo, especially when it's done in the lower grades.
Compare those to Deine Mariner who ran for 186m, with 1 try, 2 try assists and 4 tackle breaks in his last QLD Cup match
