I thought this game was better... last time was his running game and one of his tries were support play, but this had him setting up his support players... and they weren't just stock block plays.

Karapani is him taking the moment into his own hands... he could've so easily just caught and passed it out to the space, but he gets it midfield and beats 4 defenders to put Karapani away with no one in front of him

Hoeter is an excellent pass picking the right player on dual lead runs

Piaks he takes a slight juggle on the pass but gets control and quickly throws the short ball on the lead run

On top of the ball playing he also showed some nice kicking and probably some leadership qualities.

He didnt go into his shell when the crowd were booing on literally every touch
I said a while back that Mam has a bit of JT about him. I honestly believe that Friday showed that even more, the crowd booing him, the dogs hitting him off ball, the game on the line and he stepped up. His nice kick into the corner and him being one of the first down there and his right to left pass selection. Mam has the ability to be truely great and hopefully just how JT had an early shock into reality in his career he can now focus on being as good as he can be.

So many early kicks which did little except lose possession when we had very little.

Trying to back the offside Doggies up .
Idealy he doesnt kick it dead and they get a fright and don`t max out their line speed because they have to worry about a kick .

Ezra did put in a nice grubber late as well .

The try they scored when Selwyn took a leaf out of Reece`s book and let the ball bounce. The chase was infront of the kicker . Bunker saw it and said nuthin . Just like when Staggs was taken out after his kick . I see nothing !

Thank you for man splaining why we kick . Reyno is not doing it well though. He is either kicking dead, out or not giving the chaser enough if a chance to turn the kick into something useful.
It's especially annoying when we've had no ball and he just ends up giving possession back to the opposition.
Loved what I saw from Ezra on Friday.
I thought the chase for Burtons try was offside as well until I checked it.

CONEHEAD on Sunday sin bin, I was expecting him to give us no credit but honestly he was more ****ed than I expected. Save yourself 10 minutes but here is what happened according to that fat ****.

- Bulldogs lost it
- Bulldogs had far more players out than us
- The only reason we one was because Mam played well and the Bulldogs lost it, Madge did nothing
- Madge looked like he was going to quit before the final 20
- He was shocked when he was told we had more outs and condescendingly said who to Dobbo. Dobbo started the list with Jenson to which he laughed and said yeah that’s all. Dobbo had to yell over him to say Payne and Patty to which he also pretending that was nothing and they didn’t even mention Walsh because they all started yelling.

Flog.

Damn my banning on the Dogs forum. (Though, I would probably gave been banned for what would have posted)

I think the offside call was on the Kikau try... they looked to have a few just to his right offside and they all got within 10m so weren't passive

I’m not too upset on the Staggs call. It looked like a loss carry live, then was fairly inconclusive on replay - his arm had wrapped the ball, wasn’t any clear pulling motion though. It was Staggs movement that dislodged it

Hands on the ball?

That would've been on the Burton try... so on report at worst, but there's no extra penalty when you score... and the NRL has put the sin binning away since all the high shot crackdowns.

Nah talking about the tackle about 2 mins from fulltime. He's dreaming if that's a penalty just a great shot. Dogs had absolutely nothing left anyway. They didn't look like scoring in the last 20 mins

these guys a seriously delusional.

a) even if he went slightly past the horizontal it would be a penalty at worst certainly not a sin bin ... you pretty much need to dump a player directly on their head of neck for that.

b) my first response to that would be that Staggs was taken out without the ball in a blatant professional foul and Todd Smith took zero action

Oh the Karapani shot that caused the error?

I don't think he even ended up going beyond the horizontal... absolutely nothing in that ... the entire NRL world would be blowing up if that was classed as a penalty to give dogs the ball back

They're complaining that the refs were against them... yet they won the penalty count and a blatant professional foul was not even called as a penalty.

They're more delusional than me watching someone ref the broncos
