2 man bench for 60 mins. Storm are pretenders.
That's the news story out of this game... but Sydney gonna rage bait this into "Broncos may not make the 8!!!!!"

They just spent a week saying we won't do shit because we couldn't put 70 on souths... and watch them not even talk about how storm should've won this game by 50 when we lose both halves in one play inside 20mins.... why... because no one gives a shit about the purple cheating grubs that don't get clicks

Second time in 3 weeks I’ve not been pissed off after a loss. We were as good as we could have been tonight.

Defensively we were pretty good, we conceded

a) legit try
b) legit try
c) stupid short kick off try (I still beleive
we are 2023 premiers because short kick off tries do not count)
d) bullshit penalty try

We seriously would have won that without the cluster**** of injuries. Not just the fact we lost our halves, but the impact it had on all other positions.

My son is 8 and trying to explain to him how shuffling defensive structures is difficult was impossible.
Yeah the injuries just destroyed our mentality

Also, my mother in law (who I have a good relationship with), decides tonight is a good time to message me to say she thinks Walsh is a wanker. I retorted with a video of my son with a shocked look on his face saying that Reece is his favourite player. I also said Grant is 20x the wanker Reece is.

Annnnnnnnd lost the penalty count again... of course... because the grub ***** needed more help to beat a 15 man team

Proud of the effort, I think we beat them by at least 2 tries tonight without that first half bullshit.

Cannot wait until that shitstain of a club that is the Storm is consigned to the bottom half of the table permanently. I hate everything about that club. EVERYTHING. And it pleases me they won't win it this year.

I'm on the Canberra train, bc **** Penrith and the Dogs are shit.
Panthers for the 5peat..you heard it here first

Firstly, how many ****ing games against the storm get decided by injuries?

Now that's out, we sucked without direction from the halves and a subsequently ****ed rotation from the bench. Sporting effort to stay somewhat competitive.

I'm not sure that Walsh looks at who he's passing to half the time. He'd have to be leading the comp in forward passes. He's clearly an elite talent but I'm convinced there's not much between the ears with that bloke. Every god damn game.

I think we can clear September for holiday season.
Walsh loves a flashy no-look highlight reel pass..pulls off 1 in 10..should focus on his defence and organisational skills..you know..like a fullback..

Reece in particular needs to get his shit together, he's paid the big money to be clutch and nail the big moments, but when needed he just hasn't got it right.
I don't think Reece deserves too much hate this week... he was trying to beat the storm on his own after losing both halves and then the guy who used to play half decided to put it into cruise control when the team needed him.

He was having to try and do everything again... and you don't get the best out of Reece when he's in that position, but Hunt has played 350 games at this point and decided that it wasn't his job to help Reece out.

Interestingly, we were ahead until the 30th minute with penalties / infringements. So what changed?

That was so deflating. I've copped it from all the Storm fans around me and what can I say? We were getting well on top until that freaking intercept and injury to two key players all in the same play. Instead of having that Cobbo tackle inspire us to victory (it was Dearden-esque on Cobbo himself), instead we're watching BOTH halves go down the tunnel.

I don't know what causes this kind of thing to happen year in, year out against the Storm but it has to change eventually, surely. From that moment on, we had no direction, lost the whistle and lost our two playmakers and not long after had Cobbo himself on one leg.

Just so deflating to not only lose to them after I actually think we might have come home with a wet sail to season being over losing three players on top of our already extensive injury list.

Souths come in banged up, ref does everything he can to help them. We lost three players, ref goes screw it, cop this as well.

**** me dude I backed them at 30s when they were last on the table.
1 look at their bullshit draw through origin and anyone could see they're making top 8 at least and prob top 4.

I said to ****ing rest Reynolds and just take the loss.

Ezra seems pretty positive according to Madge.

Why do the storm always score full field tries against us

Un related post warning!

AFL have an epic open comp ATM, but v’landys has created a monster that can’t be reeled in.

If it was to be fairly ruled now it would be insanely obvious….so now panthers will win 5 in a row because they don’t adhere too the rules and the other most successful team also doesn’t adhere too the rules. Storm

Closest comp ever.

This isn’t supposed to be war when everyone is trying to get the upper hand with no one telling them they can’t.

There is literally someone there that’s supposed to tell them they can’t.

Worst the game has looked in 20 years and that was 4 years ago, still continues.
