Guys, Davvy Moale visited Brisbane today for talks about joining you for next year. He is being granted an early release at his request.

Will be a shame to see him leave Souths as he has a lot of potential.

Yeah saw he has requested a release and it will likely be granted but nothing in that about coming to us. Interesting if so.
 
Definitely would help with prop depth if we can sign Moale.
 
Look I wouldn’t mind Davvy. He has 70 games of NRL through the middle at 22. Obviously the potential is there. I just don’t think he has come close to reaching it. We need the depth and he won’t be expensive so I rate it but I won’t be mad if we don’t beat out the knights for him.

Yeah I'm in the same boat.

I think he came onto the scene and had some flashes, but I'm not sure he's even a starting 17 player for us and we shouldn't be looking to break the bank to get him.

At the moment the middles for our starting 17 is below... I dont think he unseats any of those guys??

Maybe pushes for Kobe's spot, but is the game moving towards bigger bodies or smaller mobile middles.

Was there any reason why we didn't commit to Josh Patston when he was in our system? Qcup stats wise he is 3rd in metres gained for a second rower and if he played the same amount of games as the two above him, he would be 1st.

Seems to be the exact type of attacking second rower we are missing, and if zero tackle is to be believed is off contract next year.

He looked really bloody good in the trials he played for us, not sure why he fell out of favour.
