360 could easily have put a moving line on that footage and would have seen a backwards from the hands pass which looked forwards because Shiba got stopped.
Broncos do 1 forward pass and get a forensic examination for 10 minutes and they're ****ing wrong anyway.

I've haven't been concerned about the Storm all year. They are very beatable. I think our best beats they're best and it will come down to errors and where they're made and finishing opportunities.

I still can't really see how it's being blown up as some ridiculously forward pass.

Commentary was muted when I watched it but they did a slow mo on the pass and it looks backwards out of the hands... it also basically hit Billy in the head.

If the pass was forward then Billy must be offside, because how does a pass nearly hit him in the head and also be forward unless he's already in front of the passer.

You know when passes are forward because players are reaching way in front of their body to catch it
 
Just getting in early - **** I hate the storm. The only saving grace for this game is that Reyno is not playing. He almost always gets injured against the storm.

In fact, I would like to know the stats of our losses against the storm and injury to key players. In recent back luck almost always seems to strike when we play the storm.

MM is real coy with Ezra & Cobbo’s progress. I’m glad he’s coy with that especially on the back of Adam’s attempt to push it went pear shaped.

But yeah, let’s be done with Thursday with a W, relax a bit more & get motivated to play a different ball game against Raiders in W1. I’m confident that this time we will get them. We will get a week off if we do & will end up playing Prefinals at Suncorp which is when I’ve circled in for Ezra & Xman to be available.

I think Ez and Cobbo arent due back until at least prelims but maybe even GF.

If thats the case then putting a timeline on their returns also looks forward to us getting all the way through the finals... dont need that out in the media because the team should be focussed on each week, not guys returning in week 3 of the finals

That is all just part of the jinx they have on us.
The othe parts are:
1. They rarely get pinged for their wrestling in the tackle against us
2. They are luckier than us and usually get the bounce of the ball
3. We make errors against them we usually don't make against other sides (I remember in one game from the kick off we put the ball over the dead ball line on the full TWICE!)
4. Whilst they are very good in the grind they can suddenly revert to flash plays usually involving papenhausen
5. There is probably more but I don't want to think about them.

Having said that they are beatable we just have to focus on ourselves and play to our strengths not try to counter what we think the storm will do but still have a very good defensive mindset when they have the ball. That means playing to win rather than not to lose.
 
The Bent Hunt redemption story is in! He will redeem the 2015 GF by having a blinder against our fiercest rival securing a top 4 finish for the 2025 season. From there Walsh will rip every team in front of him to shreds to secure our first premiership in 20 years!

Me too. I'm in the X and Mam are the most important camp, mostly because I'm struggling to trust Reyno's body until he goes over to one of those hamstring witch doctors in the states.

They said 'early indications are 8 weeks' with Xavier so maybe week 2 is worst case. We need to finish 4th so desperately.

100%. The height of the pass is what makes it look forward. The ball that goes from gut-height to nearly over Billy's head in a couple of metres, so from the live camera's perspective (around halfway, on the right of the play) it looks like the ball is moving almost directly towards the tryline. If the pass was level I don't think it would have been a talking point.

Week 2 would be best case... prelim has been the early indicator based on the 8 weeks
 
Wowee if Mam and Cobbo are back, look out! Shame still nothing on Xman.

But we could run out something like this for finals:

We are 100% contenders.
