Some very good ones but ...

Notable NRL players from the Sunshine Coast include Daly Cherry-Evans, Tino Fa’asuamaleaui, and Harry Grant, among others.
I'll give you Tino... Gympie is an hour or so north of the Sunny Coast, but he would've played juniors in the Sunny Coast comp.

Harry is from Yeppoon / Hervey Bay and Cherry is Redcliffe / Brisbane.

The point wasn't that they don't produce footy players, but more that it's not a breeding ground in the same way Newcastle, West Sydney, Logan, GC, etc. are... so I didn't want to be giving up a Wynnum, Souths or Burleigh to have the falcons as an affiliate instead.

It is good to have a presence there because it's one of the faster growing areas in Australia and the fanbase has just been abandoned by storm... and so now we have a formal presence across the whole South East Qld, which is a good move from the club.

They weren't from the Coast except for Tino, DCE was put there by Manly when they were Manly's feeder and Grant was put there by the Storm.

Tino played Meninga for the Falcons.

Looks like Moale has signed with Manly.. I'm relieved that he's not signing with us.

Still a chance that he gets it together, but he looks a dime a dozen prop and most of the time I don't realise he's on the field... but it's not like he's a workhorse either.

Nate Berrigan (Barry's son) to Broncos from Dolphins Meninga.

Only played four Meninga games this year because of injury but came back and played great football all the way to the final.

Won Cyril last year with the Dolphins.

What position does he play?

Berrigan did the same thing last year in the Cyril Grand Final, scored a try on the left with footwork. He doesn't consistently make the Dolphins Meninga side and only played three games this year because of injury but comes back and puts in that performance. He wasn't even supposed to play and hasn't played since round three at the start of March. That's a footballer, just put me in.

He's Barry's son, goes to Redcliffe High and has been at the Dolphins since Under 6 and is a second gen Dolphin.

Be hard to poach him!

Not that hard it turns out @NSW stables

Noticeable difference in recruitment @Big Pete. Buying harder tougher Meninga players isn't always the Bronco way- it's traditionally been younger and high school on the Gold Coast or New Zealand.

Who is responsible for this? The dude who came and left 5 mins later?
