If our club had any influence in the media, the narrative this week needs to be how robbed we’ve been by the refereeing.
The Alamoti put down, the Kenny forward pass prior to the second Alamoto try, Martin not being binned, the uncalled pessimistic ruck infringements, missed Penrith knock ons in the ruck.
Similar garbage in the round 27 Storm game with ruck infringements and sending Mariner for nothing.
It’s obvious refereeing is driven by narrative. Storm Sharks game had too many penalties and Atkins was pressured today to not call anything today. We scored from a potential forward pass a few weeks ago and then every flat pass was called in the Raiders game.
Put the pressure on the NRL to let us have a fair fight. Loiero and the Storm will try get away with murder in the ruck

It definitely helped that they were an existing club to begin with which usually isn't the case with expansion teams.

Willison should be okay. B. Schneider had a similar tackle last week against the Bulldogs and was still able to play today. Schneider hit the knees from the side risking MCL damage. Willison hit bent legs from behind - one would reasonably expect this to only be fined.

Yeah nah I'd rather not adopt a victim mentality like Ricky & his Raiders. It breeds softness because you always have an excuse.
Maguire has made it clear we're fine re: less rest than the Storm. Hes not going to badger the referees publicly and make us into a bunch of sooks.

Hopefully if it’s Talty, he can just win one next year
It's a tough call.
Smoothy did the pre season with the boys and has been there all year played 10 games and has been 18th man 14 times.
Talty came to the club half way through the year and has played 10 games.
Now X is back, him and Kobe cover the middle rotation. I expect Haas and Pat to play big minutes In the GF.
Piakura has played 80 mins 3 times this year so X probably goes there at some stage.
Whoever it is I don't think will get many minutes.
I would be considering Arthars or Cobbo instead just for the insurance incase we lose a back in this important game.

If Mam starts I can see both playing and Paix missing out

Big TALTY likely misses imo.. But we could easily leave out Paix if we start Hunt at 9.
