So at the end there.... Piaks was on the bench, I suspect a forced HIA for the hit from Leiro?

That means, we had ARey (torn calf), Benny (Cat 1), Piaks (HIA) and Karapangi only JUST came back on the field from his HIA in the dying seconds. Were we without a bench for a short time there at the end?

With 15 minutes to go we have Piakura playing centre, Karapani came back with 2 to go for Piakura who comes off for HIA.
The last 8-9 minutes Smoothy is playing at halfback.

leading by 4 with 10 minutes to go in a grand final we have a bench forward/hooker playing halfback and a backrower in the centres and they still can't beat us.
Thought Melbourne were ment to have this spine full of big game players..

Nope and we've got people screaming that Walsh should of been binned.. 😂 the storm were robbed by the refs they reckon

I just need to acknowledge my 20-something year old son's efforts today. He watches games, and we lose, so he (a night shift worker anyway), took one for the boys and slept through until the final siren.

Just watched the Press Conference. All class from Walsh. They even tried to get him to fire a shot back at Stefano and he answered that beautifully. Walsh is probably too real to do a lot of media but he's certainly capable of it..

He did fire shots at Stefano on his Instagram though and got all the boys involved. Well deserved though.

What a game it is? OMG!

When Kamichamika dropped the ball in an attempt to score, it definitely was the turning point for us. Very soon after that, Adam went down & I was like, “here we go, we’ll roll those grubs from here on 😜”.

We did score quickly after that but when BHunt had to be pull out, I was like “ oh boy, this is not in the script”. It was then the grubs started to go a gear up but our scramble defense is too good.

Walsh is everywhere & in everything. His brain works like a quantum computer 😆. Not phased by any moment. If it doesn’t turn out to his liking, he immediately tries something else and make sure it works. What a player!
