With Grant Anderson coming next year. I’d really explore turning shibasaki into a second rower, potentially taking Riki’s spot. With Riki being a bench player taking over Hetherington’s role.

Shibasaki would have a very similar role as second row that he currently has, and is good defensively one on one, it’s only when sliding that he makes some errors and that wouldn’t happen as much at second row. Then allows mariner or Anderson to be the centre.
 
I imagine we will see a few re-signings over the next couple of weeks.

Hopefully starts with Haas. Gosiewski would be imminent I'd imagine.

And a huge thanks to Kobe and Tyson, you both played a huge part in winning us the comp, we'll miss you guys so much!

Tyson particularly, I think we'd love to keep him if we could.

Hunt to play 1 maybe 2 more years at 7, he's still fit enough.

Walsh to 7 when Hunt retires and find a fullback. I genuinely think Walsh is an elite 7 in the making.

Unless we can somehow find a 7 then Walsh can stay at fullback but I think finding a fullback is 10x easier than a 7. There's loads of good fullbacks, there's like 5 good 7s.

Agreed. As sad as it is, he just can't get through a game anymore without pulling some in his legs and when you are a half and kicking is your job, you're done.

It will be interesting to see how much improvement Black shows next year because the 7 jersey is his in 2027 if he continues his improvement.

I thought I knew which Hunt was at 7 and then I saw Bunt at 9 and now I don’t know what is anything anymore
