The Storm Hate Thread [Official]

I’ve seen people say this eases the pain of 15 & 23, it doesn’t do that for me, they burn deep. But it certainly helps to think about 08 a little bit and know we do get to rip their hearts out.
I mean, as I've said before on here in the past week, I've recently watched stuff like Cleary's '23 try and been able to look at who missed what and how it happened...

Prior to last Sunday, I couldn't watch it. If it came up on phone or tv I'd look away. 2023 GF was the worst feeling at a live game I've ever had. Ecstacy to ****ing despair in 20 minutes.

2015 sucked live, but I could see how it was good for JT.

Matter of fact, I was sitting in almost the same spot in the stadium in '15 & '25 and the last tackle I was having major flashbacks, so actually watching them defend the tackle released a lot of the (sporting) hurt.

So - why did the Storm get to keep their trophies from the cheating wins?

What? Does the nrl not have some sort of copyright on them? Can I just buy one myself and claim I won the premiership?

I dunno man. But the club buy them, so.... I dunno.

Hopefully history repeats!
Hopefully but I doubt it..

Now I’ve calmed down a bit, if we don’t have Walsh we lose Sunday by 30 points.

We’ve got a lot of room for improvement… and I think we went on a god mode run that may never be repeated by anyone to get the W but we’re far from the best team in the league.

Madge got us fit but we’ve still got holes all over the park.

That and a healthy slice of luck.

Canberra missing field goals, bottling a try or two.

'Riff running out of gas with 10 to go, I can't see that happening next year, they'll double down.

Melbourne having diabolical second halves for most of the season, even though Hughes played you could tell he wasn't 100%. Paps was a cat because his shoulder was busted playing the dogs. Munster is like the mystery box. You might pull out a potato or a gold nugget, we got the former on Sunday. He didn't really do anything too special.

Quality down across the whole league this year… let’s add some more teams

I still hope Melbourne fail. Cause **** Melbourne.

Riff running out of gas is not luck... it was 30 degrees on a Sunday and we ran over the top of them from 10mins into the second half... how is us being far fitter than them luck?
They were not at their normal standard this year. Fitness and otherwise. They faded away at the back end of games for most of the year.

Also the extra game they had to play helped

We don’t beat any of the past 4 premiership panthers sides if we’re being honest…
